  • The headset is ideal for group-fitness instructors who need a durable, yet lightweight headset microphone that remains in place even during the most intense workouts, while providing a comfortable fit.
  • The AE50X miniature condenser microphone capsule delivers clear vocal reproduction. Its cardioid pickup pattern provides excellent isolation from stray and unwanted noise, like sound from ceiling speakers, for clear and intelligible speech.
  • The adjustable gooseneck allows you to position the mic for comfort and optimal voice capture.
  • The headset features water-/sweat-resistant components for protection against perspiration and the elements, including a marine-grade stainless steel gooseneck.
  • 4 foam windscreens and a stainless steel windscreen are included to help reduce plosive sounds.

  • The integrated design of the AH8 transmitter combines a micro transmitter and an adjustable gooseneck, completely eliminating beltpacks and cables from the setup.
  • The low-profile headset is designed to mold around the back of your head rather than over the top, keeping the transmitter out of the way and completely unobtrusive.
  • Easily accessible variable-gain control and one-touch mute as well as a battery life LED indicator make the transmitter simple to use.
  • The built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery provides 8 hours of use on a single charge.

  • A balanced XLR output and an unbalanced 1/4" output allow you to connect the receiver to any mixing board or PA system.
  • The half-rack receiver chassis can be mounted alone in a standard 19" rack using the included mounting brackets and screws.
  • Quick to set up, the receiver features a 1-touch frequency scan to quickly search 100 available frequencies and locate a clean RF channel in case of interference.
  • The transmitter easily syncs to the receiver via infrared with a quick press on the Sync button.
  • An LED display and LED status indicators show the the receiver’s current operating channel as well as system readiness and signal overload.
  • True RF diversity helps minimize dropouts.
  • Tone-key and auto-mute circuitry ensure that only the audio signal from the AH8 transmitter reaches the receiver, automatically muting the system when the transmitter is out of range to prevent unwanted noise.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. No lavaliere mic included? That's unexpected.

A: Since the transmitters have built-in microphones, the SmallRig Forevala W60 2-Person Compact Wireless Microphone System does not include separate external microphones and the manufacturer makes it an option for the user, Similar wireless mic systems like the Rode Wireless GO II and DJI Mic Wireless Microphone Systems do not include separate external microphones either. Since the transmitters for these systems feature built-in microphones and many users only want to use the built-in mics, the manufacturers make it an option for the user to decide so if they prefer using an external mic, they can purchase the compatible microphones that they would like to use. This way, if the user prefers a headset or earset style mic instead of a lavalier, they can get the type of mic and the model for the mic that they like best.

Q: 2. Does the storage case charge the Receiver and transmitters?

A: The storage case for the SmallRig Forevala W60 2-Person Compact Wireless Microphone System (2.4 GHz), BH # SM3487, provides USB-C or USB-A charging for the transmitters and receiver.

Q: 3. This system has 16 bit audio instead of 24. Does this make a huge difference?

A: A higher bit depth will enable higher dynamic range. 16-bit audio has a dynamic range of 96 dB, and 24-bit audio has a range of 144 dB.

Q: 4. When the two people are recorded simultaneously, are they mixed into one track, or are they kept as separate channels?

A: The Movo Photo MicRig-W2 Video Grip Handle with 2-Person Wireless Microphone System sends a mixed (dual mono) signal with the audio from both microphones combined on the left and right channels.

Q: 5. Is there a bar display or some battery charge indicator?

A: Yes, There is a charge LED (single LED not a bar) indicator on both the transmitter and receiver.

Q: 6. Are the batteries replaceable?

A: No. The transmitters and receiver included with the SmallRig Forevala W60 2-Person Compact Wireless Microphone System have built-in rechargeable batteries which are not user-replaceable.

Q: 7. In the manual, it states that "if the receiver reaches its safe battery level it will stop charging the transmitters". Huh?

A: Unfortunately, there was an error in the wording of the user manual for the Saramonic Blink Me 2-Person Clip-On Wireless Microphone System. Instead of stating "if the receiver reaches its safe battery level it will stop charging the transmitters," it should say "it will start charging the transmitters." Saramonic has been made aware of the error and apologizes for any confusion it has caused.

Q: 8. I'm planning to buy 4 Hollyland LARK M1 SOLO Wireless Microphone System. Will it interfere with one another?

A: Hollyland recommends that up to 4 of the Hollyland LARK M1 SOLO Wireless Microphone System (2.4 GHz) can be used in one place without issues.

Q: 9. Is the output of the RX split into A & B channels so A & B can be recorded on separate tracks in-camera? Do the TXs record their audio?

A: Yes, the receiver in the SmallRig Forevala W60 2-Person Compact Wireless Microphone System offers both mono and stereo output options, with the stereo option splitting the signal of each transmitter independently to either side of the left/right signal. The transmitters in this system do not offer internal recording capabilities.

Q: 10. Which other lav mics are compatible with the ECM-W2BT besides the ECM-LV1?

A: This is a closed system and no other mics would be compatible.
