Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. It says that the wooden desk is removable for storage/transportation purposes. When removed from the stand, is the desk able to stand on it's own if I wanted to use it as a desktop stand? See the following product as a reference: B&H # MA5301120965

A: No. the desk portion requires the stand for support. Removing it from the stand is to facilitate storage or transportation only.

Q: 2. Someone pulled our Hamilton Encore music stand apart (out the top). How do the internal sleeves reassemble, especially the thin copper ring. What is supposed to hold the inner tube in the outer tube?

A: Unfortunately the support tubes are not designed to completely disassemble. Please contact Hamilton Stands directly:Hamilton StandsTel: (513) 228.9401Email: a href= http://sales@hamiltonstands.com target= _blank sales@hamiltonstands.com/aWebsite: a href= http://usa.hamiltonstands.com/index.aspx target= _blank http://usa.hamiltonstands.com/index.aspx/a

Q: 3. How heavy is the stand in it's case only (no boxes and packaging?)

A: Just over 8 lbs.

Q: 4. Will it hold a 635A microphone in place securely?

A: Yes, the Hamilton Stands KB810M Nu-Era Tabletop Mic Stand could be used with an Electro-Voice 635A Omnidirectional Handheld Dynamic ENG Microphone.

Q: 5. What are the dimensions of the wooden desk ?

A: The dimensions of the QuikLok MS/332 are Height 29.5 - 50.8 and Weight is 9.1 lbs.

Q: 6. I bought this stand but can't attach my Neewer 70 inch jib without a mount. Which mount will fit this stand?

A: The Proaim P-JS Heavy-Duty Jib Stand does not provide threading above the 33mm diameter pole, nor does Proaim manufacture an adapter since the stand is designed for Proaim jibs with a center post mount. A suggestion in adapting the Proaim P-JS Heavy-Duty Jib Stand to either the 1/4"-20 or 3/8"-16 threading present under the Neewer 70 inches Carbon Fiber Jib Arm Camera Crane is using the Glide Gear Speaker Stand to 1/4"-20 Adapter with ProTapes Pro Gaffer Tape (2" x 12 yd, Black). The inner diameter of the Glide Gear Speaker Stand to 1/4"-20 Adapter is 35.75mm. It is possible to decrease the gap between the stand and adapter by wrapping tape around the pole so there is a more flush fit. See the links below: https://bhpho.to/3H8W9fP https://bhpho.to/3kqB5Zz

Q: 7. Is the maximum height only 21 ? Can that be right?

A: The Audix MB-STAND is a low profile floor stand. Used in conjuction with the Audix MicroBoom System. See the following link for application example. a href= http://bhpho.to/1KJSkbq target= _blank http://bhpho.to/1KJSkbq/a

Q: 8. Is this able to hold the SureSM7B Cardioid Dynamic Vocal Microphone, which weighs 1.69 lbs?

A: Yes, on just the vertical pole this will be able to hold an SM7B.

Q: 9. will these work with Matthews combo stands? they tend to need a wider slot.

A: Yes, as long as the stands feature a 5/8 receiver or a junior pin the stand will adapt. Please review the following item Impact CA-106 Junior to Baby Pin Adapter BH #IMCA106 • MFR #CA-106 https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/824421-REG/impact_ca_106_junior_pin_to_baby.html?sts=pi

Q: 10. How firm or stable is the desk on the tripod stand pole? Does it wiggle at all?

A: This stand is very sturdily built and stable when used for its intended purpose.

Looking for something nicer then a plain music stand. Wood grain is very nice. It is also quieter then the metal music stands for audio/video recording. Build quality seems pretty good.

A sturdy and handsome music stand at a great price. Highly recommended and superior to other manufacturers. The desk is larger than the standard metal stands, and it does not look like something that was used by the Army band before and repainted. Easy to put together and screws tighten to hold heavier loads. Very satisfied :-)
