A: Yes the FA-226 Insert will be compatible with this case just fine. I checked the Domke site, and it said it will fit fine.

A: Yes, but the inserts aren't the best.

Q: 4. Will this bag hold a D7500 with 18-300 lens attached? Rearrange the interior of course. Prefer the camera and lens lay horizontal in the bag. Maybe on one side but prefer not. Grab and go bag, used Domke before. Thanks.

A: Probably not, since its made for devices up to .06" deep.

A: The bottom of the bad is lightly padded, but the sides are not.

Q: 9. Will it hold a 5D Mark III with a Tamron 17-50 attached, a Canon 100-400, and Canon 70-200? I spend a lot of time at Wildlife Refuges and never know what I may need. Thanks

A: Hi William,You could use this bag with the rig you described; the two large telephotos on each end, and the camera with lens attached in the center. But that would be it; especially if you have the tripod collars on the lenses and lens hoods as well. They would protrude a little towards the top but that wouldn't be a problem since the top flaps over and hooks closed. There's no padding on this bag at all, which is great if you want to keep it light as possible, and there is a roomy front pocket for cables and batteries and such, so if you're just out for a short trip and dont need a lot of extra equipment, i'd say it would do the trick. But I wouldn't recommend it for a long shoot in Africa where dust and protection of equipment is an issue.

Q: 10. Looking for a bag for D5600 body with these lenses: Nikon 10-24, Nikon 18-55, Nikon 70-300 and Sigma 50. Does the Domke F-6 fit? or, the Domke next generation metro messanger? or, please let me know if you have any other suggestions. Thanks

A: Hi Daisy,This is great little bag to move quickly with. Plan out what you need carefully. I keep 4 lens, d810 with a battery grip and a d610 body without a grip (back up body). Lens I carry are 135 f2 DC, 85 1.8, 35 f2 and 50 f1.4. If I need a strobe Ill just take one less lens and put the strobe in its place. Depending on the shoot. The only lens Im not sure about is your 70-300. Not sure on which one you have. Might have to put that one on the front pouch. But youll be surprised what you can put in that bag. Good luckBest,Pete

Finding a great bag is much harder than it should be but Domke f-6 is as close to a perfect bag as you can get. It's well maid, feels good on your shoulder and it fits a lot more gear than you'd think given its size. For an analog photographer like me, it's a perfect balance between size, quality and weight. It's a great walkabout bag. 5

This bag has met all my expectations. I am, over time, switching from my Canon system to Olympus micro four thirds and wanted a shoulder bag that held two bodies, three lenses and a flash. This bag holds my OM-D E-M1 and E-M5 along with my 12-40 f/2.8, the inexpensive, plastic 40-150 f/4-5.6 and, for the moment, my 12-50 kit lens (I'll substitute the 60mm macro when I get it this year sometime). I also have the FL600R flash in the bag. All items fit well and there's the front pocket for extra batteries, electronic shutter release, etc. Really meets all my needs and looks like a mini version of my original Domke bag (F2). I'm very happy with it. The only down side to Domke shoulder bags for some is their lack of padding. To me, that's a plus. 5

The perfect size: not too big, not too small. Fits my 6D with lens attached, flash, 2 handles, other accessories and lenses too. Can be worn comfortably as a sling bag. However, the Domke Digital SLR Camera Insert (Green)does not fit very well in it. So if you're considering buying a different insert, it's probably best to just keep the one it comes with and get single wall dividers for the sides of the bag. 5

I have used Domke products for over 30 years, starting with my original F-2 bag. As my needs changed (& more gear acquired), I always found the right-sized Domke bag (F-2, F-1X, F-7 & now F-6). The quality standard always remained high and the bags never failed me. I always like to have side pouches secured with either velcro or zippers and the top flap secured with double straps (these models have such features). 5

I've tried too many bags but was looking for something more functional. I like messenger style, hanging on the shoulder but find most will hold three lenses and I wanted to carry four. This bag is small enough it carries very well and holds my Fuji XT-2 with the 16, 35, 56, and 80 mm very comfortably. Plus it's not too big so I can't make it much heavier. 5

i carry a leica outfit of three lenses and one to two bodies and this bag is perfect for it. i travel light but prefer a bag slightly larger than my outfit to give me room to reach for individual body or lens and serve as a shelter when changing lenses, film, or memory cards. this bag is soft and hip-hugging with reassuring non-slipping strap and moderate climate protection. unlike larger domke f's and the smaller f8, the f6 does not come with a rigid bottom stiffener which tends to hurt your bum. it is as comfy as my original hadley but fluffier and lighter, however with less padding (which is sufficient for those who actually use their cameras rather than pamper them) olive color may appear bluish green under certain light but i find it to be most discreet of all available color options. i have used it in various formal shoots without raising any attention. most people think it's a military surplus bag. (good on the streets but might get an unfriendly look in formal luxury events but it does blend in just fine with most attires). the color fades easily with regular use in natural climates and washing. it seems to become more olive and less green after use. weather protection is okay. unlike my billinghams, this one may leak some water under heavy monsoon rain, it also absorbs and retains water considerably and dries slower than billingham's canvas. but it can be machine washed, a real plus after a rugged, stinky assignment. 5

Great bag ,have a Domke F10 but need a little more room for a new lens.Easily holds my D90 with grip and 18-270 attached,SB 28 flash,two other lens and lots of small items.I like the fact the bag is not stiff and fits to my body.Very well made I love everything about the bag.When I first unpacked it I thought it would be to small but I was wrong ,holds all my equipment with room to spare. 5
