A: Assuming you are not planning to keep it on the camera, I would say definitely YES. As far as a pocket large enough, there are several options. If you don't plan to carry a laptop, the padded area designed for that would definitely work. If you do plan to carry a laptop, I am fairly certain that it would fit in a padded compartment inside since the dividers are moveable (via velcro) for your own personal design. The top section (where the tag is affixed) has plenty of room for equipment ( i.e. camera with small lens) or personal items (i.e. 1st aid kit, windbreaker, socks, sunscreen, bug spray, hat, etc.). In the large/bottom zippered section, I carry 2 cameras with small lenses attached, another lens, pack of filters. and charger. I carry about 6 batteries in the top/outside velcro pocket. I really like the pack and configuration except that it does not include a pouch for a water bottle on the outside. I hook a water bottle to the side handle and strap it down a little so it doesn't flop around too much. It would probably be even better to somehow hook it on the front for better availability. But to be able to carry a tripod so easily makes the water bottle inconvenience bearable.
