The black I2 Instrument Microphone, High Gain, with cH-Style 4-Pin Connector for Audio Technica ATW-T5201 Wireless Transmitters from Countryman is a mic that has been engineered from the ground up for natural on- and off-axis frequency response, low-noise, and precise polar patterns with deep nulls. This tiny instrument microphone can be used to capture audio in sound reinforcement applications for saxophone, violin, viola, cello, double bass, acoustic guitars, piano, brass, and percussion instruments.

The I2 instrument microphone is suitable for distance miking that is invisible in front of audiences and on camera. This version features increased sensitivity for distance miking and capturing detail in quieter instruments. It is supplied with a foam windscreen, a basic clip, and a carrying case. In addition, the 5' cable is permanently attached to the mic and terminates to a cH-style 4-pin connector for direct connection to Audio Technica ATW-T5201 wireless bodypack transmitters.

The I2 maintains excellent pattern control and frequency response at all angles. It offers uncolored recordings and reduced feedback issues.

Flexible close miking techniques can be aided by the various selection of instrument mounts (sold separately), which position securely and gently to strings, brass, and more.

Small size and sonic precision makes this microphone suitable for X-Y, M-S, and other techniques that rely on accurate, coincident positioning, and consistent patterns.

The omnidirectional polar pattern picks up sound from all directions equally offering the flattest frequency response, lowest noise level, and is least susceptible to wind noise and vibration. It is recommended for recording and sound reinforcement of acoustic instruments such as percussion, guitar, saxophone, and piano.

Q: 1. Will this work with the Nikon Coolpix p1000? Thanks!

A: Yes, Cotton Carrier Skout G2 Sling-Style Camera Harness will work with the Nikon COOLPIX P1000 Digital Camera.

Q: 2. does built in mic of D10 is the same quality of D100?

A: Not quite although the D10 is a great sounding machine. It has Inputs 2 x XLR-1/4" TRS Combo Jacks and pretty much everything else you you could want. But you can't expect it to be sonically equal to a recorder at a much higher price point.

Q: 3. Following cataract surgery I am slightly near sighted in the eye is use for photography. I have a Nikon 5200 which has a small diopter adjustment wheel on the side of the eye piece but it doesn't go quite far enough. Should I get a plus 2 or a minus 2 correction eyepiece?

A: Depends on if you're near-sighted (you'll need minus) or far-sighted (you'll need plus). What I did in order to determine the strength I needed was go to an optometrist and tell them exactly what you need the prescription for. Tell them to test for one meter distance. It is going to be different than a prescription for regular lenses such as for driving or watching a movie. For instance, I have a different prescription for driving than for working at my desk on a computer. Get yourself tested for one meter distance. My prescription turned out to be minus 2 point something but I couldn't get one that specific so I rounded up to minus three and it's perfect. They don't cost that much, very well worth the expense. Also be sure it's designed to be compatible with your specific camera.

Q: 4. Is the case material plastic? Or metal?

A: Hi seunghee, Good news! The case is a combination of metal and plastic. Regards, Erin

Q: 5. How to compare the PCM-D10 mics responsiveness to ambient noise both audio & visually (recording meters) to Sony PCM-A10

A: The built-in mics on the Sony PCM-D10 Portable High-Resolution Linear PCM Audio Recorder and the Sony PCM-A10 High-Resolution Audio Recorder appear to be the same. It's the other features of the two recorders that differ.

Q: 6. How many volts of plugin power does the recorder supply via the 3.5mm jack?

A: Sony does not specify the specific voltage supplied to the 3.5mm Mic/Line input jack on the Sony PCM-D10 Portable High-Resolution Linear PCM Audio Recorder, however plug-in power is 5V in most cases and it can be assumed that this is the voltage available from this input.

Q: 7. "manfrotto style..." - will this plate fit a manfrotto tripod (501plate) as well as a DJI gimbal - is the plate interchangeable?

A: The SmallRig Manfrotto-Style Quick Release Plate for DJI RS 3/RS 3 Pro/RS 2/RSC 2/Ronin-S Gimbals allows you to use either it or the DJI plate on the gimbal. The SmallRig plate can be used on Manfrotto 501 tripod heads.

Q: 8. what is the thickness of the plate?

A: It is 3/8 inch thick.

Q: 9. Is this an entire set of three wheels, or only one wheel?

A: 366068 mombo caster set of 3

Q: 10. Does the Sony PCM-D10 also work as an external USB audio interface? (Some Zoom and Tascam devices have this function)

A: The Sony PCM-D10 Portable High-Resolution Linear PCM Audio Recorder is not an interface.
