The 42-rack SNE Series Digital Security Network Enclosure from Middle Atlantic is an advanced 27x48" security rack enclosure featuring passive cooling without side panels. It is purpose-built and was designed to meet the specific requirements of digital (IP based) security systems consisting of high-density cabling, network equipment, and servers. Optional Tool-Free Lever Lock system accommodates small devices including encoders, power supplies, and Access Control Systems.

The enclosure is equipped with a 70% open area vented front door, a pair of split flush mount locking side panels, 2 pairs of adjustable cage-nut rack rails (including 6mm hardware), 42 rack spaces, 100 6mm cage-nuts/rack screws, a 70% open area split rear door and a solid top with brush cable pass-through. It is Lever Lock compatible and accepts all Lever Lock vertical 21" accessories.

A: The included rack shelves can be removed and repositioned.

A: No, the fans in the Video Mount Products 19" Equipment Rack Enclosure are not regulated by a thermostat.

Q: 3. Does this unit have an open back or is the unit fully enclosed (metal back)? I need a fully enclosed rack.

A: Closed back - black metal.

Q: 4. does this rack offers soundproof?

A: This rack is not soundproofed in any way.

Q: 5. What is the interior width of the shelf?

A: The inside to inside measurement of the shelf is 17.375. Keep in mind that you would want to have a little bit of space between the component and the sides of the shelves for some “breathability”. I would recommend a component no wider than 17”, maybe 17.125”.

Q: 6. Will this work with the cellular model?

A: I would not recommend it for cellular trail cameras

Q: 7. Is this good for 2U server?

A: It has 27 spaces so I don't see why anything 2U would be a problem.

A: Yes I have! If you'd like pictures mark I can provide them but works perfectly! I have a Ubiquiti Gateway, Gen2 Plus, 16 port switch, battery backup, and AP :)

Q: 10. does it come with any racks?

A: The Video Mount Products 19 Equipment Rack Enclosure comes with 18-space rails threaded with standard 10-32 threading.
