fisheye is a necessary lens for a professional. this one has great quality glass even along the warped edges. the warping is even and minimal. enough to make a cool effect without creating an effect that wears out the novelty fast. great colors. wish theyd invent a way to add some sort of filter and protect the fisheye glass from scratches. but thats all fisheyes not just canon. 5

This Canon lens is excellent. Very good Special Effects lense. High quality, qick focusing, very sharp images. At f2.8 aperture is still sufficiently sharp. This lens is great when you want to give a special touch to wedding or other special occasion photos. It can make a normal shot more interesting. AF could have been a USM. It's worth the cost. You will not regret owning it! 5

Great lens, well worth the money. I use it with my Canon 50D, which has a cropped sensor, so I lose a little bit of the fisheye effect, but that's not always a bad thing. The image quality is fantastic non-the-less and the f/2.8 is great. 5

When you need to fit a lot in the frame this is the lens. Sharp enough for the Canon 5D even at f2.8 to print large posters. 5

Words cannot describe this lens. Took this on a cruise in Western Carribean and came back with the most beautiful creative pictures. Lens is SHARP!It did not take long to learn how to use this lens. Great for capturing large areas and low light is no problem. It everything I have read about. Small easy to carry with any of my gear. 5

Great lens for lanscapes but also for weddings to get fantastic view of wedding couple at their ceremony or park or dance floor. I bought two so when I bring an assistant we both have 15mm. For maximun results use with 5D or 5D II. 5

I like this lens. I use it when I want to expand a photos creativity. Images are sharp and detailed. I think that it is a good buy if an L is not possible. The only concern that I have is that it fits unusually tight, not a problem, just not use to it. 5

amazing lens! bought it about a year ago and have been loving it ever since! really fast AF, sharp glass and very durable. i was shooting bmx one day and took a bike to the camera directly on top of my fisheye and the lens still works perfectly! 5
