The black I2 Instrument Microphone, High Gain, with TA5F Connector for Lectrosonics DBa, DCHT, LMa, LMb, LT, PDR, SM, SMa, SMB, SMDa, SMDB, SMQ, SMQa, SMQV, SMV, SMWB, SMDWB, SPDR, UM400a, and UM450 Wireless Transmitters from Countryman is a mic that has been engineered from the ground up for natural on- and off-axis frequency response, low-noise, and precise polar patterns with deep nulls. This tiny instrument microphone can be used to capture audio in sound reinforcement applications for saxophone, violin, viola, cello, double bass, acoustic guitars, piano, brass, and percussion instruments.

The I2 instrument microphone is suitable for distance miking that is invisible in front of audiences and on camera. This version features increased sensitivity for distance miking and capturing detail in quieter instruments. It is supplied with a foam windscreen, a basic clip, and a carrying case. In addition, the 5' cable is permanently attached to the mic and terminates to a TA5F connector for direct connection to Lectrosonics DBa, DCHT, LMa, LMb, LT, PDR, SM, SMa, SMB, SMDa, SMDB, SMQ, SMQa, SMQV, SMV, SMWB, SMDWB, SPDR, UM400a, and UM450 wireless bodypack transmitters.

The I2 maintains excellent pattern control and frequency response at all angles. It offers uncolored recordings and reduced feedback issues.

Flexible close miking techniques can be aided by the various selection of instrument mounts (sold separately), which position securely and gently to strings, brass, and more.

Small size and sonic precision makes this microphone suitable for X-Y, M-S, and other techniques that rely on accurate, coincident positioning, and consistent patterns.

The omnidirectional polar pattern picks up sound from all directions equally offering the flattest frequency response, lowest noise level, and is least susceptible to wind noise and vibration. It is recommended for recording and sound reinforcement of acoustic instruments such as percussion, guitar, saxophone, and piano.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Please recommend a battery for these

A: These would be a good option. https://bhpho.to/3kcs1nb

Q: 2. Hello, is the guarantee valid if I buy from Europe? Thank you

A: No it is not. The Warranty is limited to the United States.

Q: 3. One picture shows they’re app controlled but I see no mention of an app in the item description. Do they use an app for full control?

A: According the manufacturer, the GVM Easily app installed on an iOS device and Android would control these panels via Wi-Fi.

Q: 4. I have Nikon DSLR can this telescope accommodate this camera? Thanks

A: The Celestron StarSense Explorer LT 114AZ 114mm f/9 AZ Reflector Telescope is not recommend for use with a Nikon camera due to the weight.

Q: 5. What is the maximum uninterrupted interior length of this bag, can I fit my Sony 200-600mm lens inside? (just over 13")

A: The uninterrupted interior length of the Tenba Axis V2 LT Backpack (Black, 18L) is 15". (The top compartment and main compartment which are separated by a zippered divider can be removed allowing continuous use of the entire length of it). Therefore, this backpack has the length required to carry the Sony FE 200-600mm f/5.6-6.3 G OSS Lens, which is 12.52" long. However an easier access backpack which would offer an easier access to this long lens would be the Tenba Axis V2 Backpack (Black, 16L). https://bhpho.to/3yqcV8u

Q: 6. are the fc/lux rating measured before or after the optical filter panel in in place? what is the beam angle of the light and does the optical panel change the beam angle?

A: The manufacture does not list how they read the fc/Lux. Chances are with the filter on. From the information we currently have it seems the beam angle is around 120 degrees.

Q: 7. What is the actual dimensions of the LED panel and not the housing?

A: The panel is approximately 8.1 inches x 10 inches.

Q: 8. 1000mm focal length and only 610mm long tube, what's the catch?

A: This is the Manufacturer's specifications. My apologies.

Q: 9. Four questions, is it compatible to Samsung Galaxy? Do the lenses contain eye cups to block out external light? What the maximum degrees of altitude for viewing on the tripod? What is the maximum height of the tripod? My last telescope made it difficult if not impossible to view anything above 40 degrees and when looking I had to actually get on my knees on the ground and no eyecups.

A: Yes it is compatible with any Android or Apple IOS smart phone. The eyepieces that come with the telescope do not have eyecups. Eyecups are not usually needed for astronomy since you are using the telescope in the dark or near dark conditions. There are optional eyepieces that you can buy that have eyecups.

Q: 10. What timecode format is used? Specs say "BNC timecode input" but I don't see the format defined anywhere

A: The Panasonic Cinema VariCam LT 4K S35 Digital Cinema Camera (EF Mount) has a standard BNC input for timecode.
