Used it with a Nikon speedlight. Very nice soft light was achieved with this umbrella. Although huge in size when fully opened, it was really portable when folded. The quality of this product was decent. 5

The umbrella was used as a main light in two protrait sittings. It give fantastic results. If it is durable, the umbrella will be a great buy. 5

Well made, lightweight. Very useful tool in the lighting kit complementing all the other various light modifiers one needs to own. Creates a very nice cast shadow to give the subject a 3-dimensional look while still wrapping the subject in soft light. The silver lining makes skin pop with contrast. Works very well with a quad head holding 4 small speed lights if you don't want to use an AC powered strobe system. 5

I am using this umbrella with my continuous lighting system, it give a great soft box look. It is big and takes up a great deal of space, but works great. 5

Prior to this purchase, I had bought only a small softbox and a couple of small umbrellas. I saw a photographer with a similar large umbrella shooting a youth basketball team portrait, and wanted to get one. He was using it as a softbox, with a diffuser on the front. So, I ordered this umbrella with a diffuser. I love it; have only tested it so far, but I am looking forward to using it for family portraits - for my growing family. 5
