The 3079 Eyecushion System from Bluestar consists of a thick eyepiece adapter and an Ultrasuede eyepiece "chamois". The Ultrasuede version provides a comfortable, highly absorbent interface for your eye as you view your frame. This colorfast yellow Ultrasuede is but one of many colors/patterns available, enabling you to assign a color to each crew member using your camera rig. The 3079 system fits Sony PXW-Z150, PXW-Z9, AX700, and FS5 cameras and similar eyepieces.

A: Blueshape does not yet list the FS5 as compatible. They currently lists this cable as suitable with the SONY EX1, EX1R, EX3, PMW-100, PMW-150, PMW-200, PMW-300, PXW-FS7 and PXW-X180 Please keep in mind that the FS5 is still a relatively new release and not yet tested with many 3rd party options. A: No, the Vello IR-STV IR Remote with Playback Control for Select Sony Cameras is not compatible for use with the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX10 IV Digital Camera. The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX10 IV Digital Camera does not have an infrared sensor, and is only compatible with remote releases that use the Multi-Terminal Interface Micro-USB cable.

This has everything I want for a remote shutter release. The wireless remote control has quite a long range; and if used for wired release you can just connect the cable to the receiver and to the camera, it doesn't even require the battery in the receiver. Both receiver and remote control work quite well, the only minor complaint I have is that you'll need to unscrew two tiny screws in the remote control to replace the battery if needed. I'm not sure why they don't design it the same way as the receiver on which you can just slide off the cover to get to the battery. 5

I use this set successfully and reliably with Nikon D3x and D3s to include myself in family pictures and, once things are set up, in studio portraits to allow me to watch the subject without looking through the camera. I haven't tried to measure its range, but it works from one room to another in my house; its range has been sufficient for my needs. I happily used it to replace a similar product of different brand that was disgustingly unreliable. 5

For the price this is a great product. I set up the tripod, camera and receiver and I can be anywhere in the yard and snap a shot! It's very reliable and the build quality is good. I'm using an old cel phone case to hold the receiver on the tripod so it doesn't interfear with the pop up flash. 5

I tested this out before taking it out on a session. Read your directions and take your time. It's quite the handy little device. I also did a test session with some friends of mine first and it works very well from a distant. Highly recommend. Use this for everything. No one can hold a camera still enough and even on a tripod this is handy. I like the hands free so that I can work with clients easier. 5
