The black I2 Instrument Microphone, Standard Gain, with TA5F Connector for Audio Technica ATW-T101 Wireless Transmitters from Countryman is a mic that has been engineered from the ground up for natural on- and off-axis frequency response, low-noise, and precise polar patterns with deep nulls. This tiny instrument microphone can be used to capture audio in sound reinforcement applications for saxophone, violin, viola, cello, double bass, acoustic guitars, piano, brass, and percussion instruments.

The I2 instrument microphone is suitable for distance miking that is invisible in front of audiences and on camera. This version offers a standard gain and is suitable for close miking and loud instruments like horns. It is supplied with a foam windscreen, a basic clip, and a carrying case. In addition, the 5' cable is permanently attached to the mic and terminates to a TA5F connector for direct connection to Audio Technica ATW-T101 wireless bodypack transmitters.

The I2 maintains excellent pattern control and frequency response at all angles. It offers uncolored recordings and reduced feedback issues.

Flexible close miking techniques can be aided by the various selection of instrument mounts (sold separately), which position securely and gently to strings, brass, and more.

Small size and sonic precision makes this microphone suitable for X-Y, M-S, and other techniques that rely on accurate, coincident positioning, and consistent patterns.

The omnidirectional polar pattern picks up sound from all directions equally offering the flattest frequency response, lowest noise level, and is least susceptible to wind noise and vibration. It is recommended for recording and sound reinforcement of acoustic instruments such as percussion, guitar, saxophone, and piano.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. does this film work for a lumicon 8III?

A: Hey, so I looked into the Lumicon 8 III a little bit and I am going to say a tentative yes. From what I understand the Lunicon 8 III was released in 1961 and super 8 film (the other kind of 8mm film) was released in 1965. So the odds are in your favor. And honestly the film is relatively inexpensive so it's really worth the shot! I shoot on this film all the time and I love how it looks, and if it doesn't work for your camera then you have a test roll for future cameras!

Q: 2. Has anyone used this product with a leica M body with standard prime lens...?

A: Yes, this does fit Leica M camera bodies with standard prime lenses. We tested and confirmed this is compatible using a Leica M10 and Leica M-P camera bodies with a Leica 35mm f/1.4 Summichron lens, complete with the lens hood on the frond.

Q: 3. How much footage can you shoot on this film, according to the different frame rates? How many minutes for 16, 18, and 24fps?

A: If you shoot at 16fps (which is usually the average speed of a 8mm projector) you will get about 4 minutes of usable footage. 24fps usually looks a bit better for digital transfers. Fogging of film can/will occur at the beginning and end of the reel as it will be exposed to some light when flipping the roll... this will cut down on the amount of usable film to use.

Q: 4. What are the tube diameters on the 75.4" monopod?

A: The diameters of the ProMediaGear TRM34ML Carbon Fiber Monopod with Standard Mount are 34mm-30mm-26mm.

Q: 5. will this fit a Fuji XT-1 with 18-55mm lens? Is the cover the same size as the Zing Std SLR Camera Cover?

A: Yes, the Zing Designs Standard SLR Action Cover will fit a Fujifilm XT-1 with 18-55mm lens. It is the same size as the normal Standard SLR cover, however this version comes with a waist strap.

Q: 6. Will this fit an Olympus OMD EM1 MKII with 12-200mm zoom?

A: Hi--yes, that will work with your camera and lens.

Q: 7. will this work with a broncolor pulso light head?

A: The iFootage 6" Fresnel Lens (Standard Bowens Mount) will NOT fit your Broncolor pulso head.

Q: 8. Can the foot become unscrewed from this monopod? I own a top rated monopod fromEurope and have had to replace the foot, because it is lost during use.

A: Yes the foot is removable for access to the spike. It would unscrew in order to remove it.

Q: 9. will this fit ad300?

A: Yes, the Godox Standard Reflector for the AD400 Pro can also fit the AD300 Pro.

Q: 10. The product photo shows it splitting into two pieces, but I'm trying with the one I have, and I can't seem to separate them. Do you have any tips for me? Also, if I can separate them, can I use the bowens mount adaptor that comes with the AD400pro to attach and lock this reflector?

A: The original does not split into two. The following system has a pinch and release system that is very hard at first needs to be broken in to loosen the reflector.
