Fotodiox Multi-position Stitching Adapter For Nikon Z-mount Camera To View Camera With Graflok Back

This Multi-Position Stitching Adapter from FotodioX allows a Nikon Z-mount camera to serve as a digital back on a view camera that features a Graflok back. While in use, this adapter permits the creation of images in the landscape or portrait orientation. Images can be generated from individual captures. Alternatively, multiple captures that are aligned using the adapter's integrated sliding mechanism can be combined to create an image with an increased field of view and a larger file size using separately available stitching software.

The front of this adapter consists of an interface plate that mounts directly onto a Graflok back. The rear of the interface plate holds a sliding panel with a bayonet for a Nikon Z-mount camera. A Nikon Z-mount camera connected to the adapter can be placed in the landscape or portrait orientation by rotating the sliding panel's bayonet. The sliding panel can be shifted and aligned according to a three-point interval scale on the rear of the interface plate. The central point can be used to orient the camera to generate an image from a single capture. Without otherwise moving the camera or the view camera it is adapted to, three captures, one at each point of the interval scale, can later be combined to form an image with triple the field of view and horizontal resolution.

Alternatively, a secondary interval scale on the rear of the interface plate is specifically provided for use while a connected camera is in the landscape orientation. That interval scale can be used to generate two overlapping captures that can later be combined to form an image with 1.7x the field of view and horizontal resolution of a single image from a Nikon Z-mount camera.

Aluminum alloy locking knobs for the sliding panel and its rotatable bayonet allow each of those components to be firmly held in place during the capture process. To further enhance this adapter's durability, the rotatable bayonet, sliding panel, and the Graflok back-compatible interface plate are constructed from brass.

Q: 1. Does it fit the Sinar F 4x5? Thanks

A: It does fit as long as the camera has a graflock back.

Q: 2. Will this adapter be strong enough for the old nikon 500mm f8?

A: Short term, yes. Over time, no. I would recommend using a lens support if your lens does not have a tripod collar. Click the link below to view; https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/554350-REG/Manfrotto_293_293_Telephoto_Lens_Support.html

Q: 3. Hi friends of BH. I would like if you have some option for my hasselblad sistem H. I have Hasselblad H3D. Or if you have other option for use mu Sinar P3 with my Hasselblad H3D as digital back?. Thank you very much

A: The Silvestri Direct Adapter with Hasselblad H 6x6 Interface for Sinar P3 Camera, B&H # SIAHH6X6SP3 • MFR # DF7019SA, was the adapter we carried designed to connect a Hasselblad H-series digital back to the Sinar P3 Large Format Camera. Unfortunately, this back is no longer available new. As such, you would have to check to see if the above item can be found used.

Q: 7. Will this adapter fit on a Wista Field DX 4x5 Rosewood camera body without modifications? I'm not sure what constitutes a "Graflock back" so that's why I am asking. Thanks.

Q: 10. Can you still use the Auto, Aperture and Shutter Speed modes on the Sony A7III?
