Create smooth-motion shots on moving vehicles and rigs with the Pro Vibration Isolator from Proaim. The mount features a shock-absorbing, spring-tension polymer wire construction, which can be swapped out for optional higher-tension modules for heavier loads.

The aluminum shock-absorbing head provides vibration isolation for camera gimbal rigs from 11 to 33 lb to prevent shaky footage when on the move. There are multiple 1/4"-20, 3/8"-16, M3, and M4 mounting threads on the top and bottom to add a variety of accessories or mount it onto a Proaim stabilizer arm, or in underslung or overslung mode. The plate on top allows you to mount a DJI Ronin series gimbal.

A: It can work with 4x5. I would get a larger one and one that offers more precision in the leveling functionality like Acratech Large Leveling Base BH #ACLLB

Q: 2. Is this mount compatible with the RS4 Pro?

A: One of the new features of the DJI RS4 Pro includes vertical camera mounting, and you would not require the DJI R Vertical Camera Mount for the RS 2 and RS 3 Pro Gimbals.

Q: 3. I'm aware the DJI RSC-2 has a portrait mode, but will this vertical mount also work on the RSC-2?

A: This unfortunately will only work on the RS2. The RSC-2 doesn't have the same arms as the RS2 and it wouldn't mount properly.

Q: 4. Does this work with the Canon 1DX Mark II?

A: Yes, the DJI R Vertical Camera Mount for RS 2 Gimbal could support the Canon 1DX MkII. However, you would need the DJI RS3 Pro gimbal to support the cameras size and weight.

Q: 5. Will the bubble scratch if you put a video head that is wider than the top?

A: This is unlikely. The bubble level is recessed slightly and would not get touched by the head. The thing you should be aware of is your bubble level will be covered. You may want to get a separate bubble level.

Q: 6. is this compatible with the RS3 Pro?

A: Yes, the DJI R Vertical Camera Mount for RS 2 Gimbal is compatible with the DJI RS3 Pro.

Q: 7. Batteries are not included in this bundle, but does the case fit the batteries?

A: The included Alta X case will not have a section for batteries.

Q: 8. Would this usable on #075 tripod?

A: Yes this would work on your Manfrotto 075, the head has a 3/8" female thread and the tripod has a 3/8" male screw so it will mount no problem.

Q: 9. Can the tightening knob be repositioned?

A: No the knob can not be repositioned.

Q: 10. Will this work with the fx3 and 24-70 GM II?

A: Yes, the gimbals supported by the DJI R Vertical Camera Mount for RS 2 and RS 3 Pro Gimbals will be able to support your camera payload.

I purchased this to assist with levelling my Slik Pro 700DX tripod and it works great. No more needing to mess with tripod legs, the leveller eliminates that troublesome task. My only complaint is that there is no protection from dirt entering the ball/socket area. This will be a problem for dusty areas like Arizona because they did put some type of grease in that area. I ended up making a clear cover from a ziplock bag to lay over the ball/socket area. 5

I should have bought this Manfrotto 438 leveling head years ago! Leveling a camera for video or photography by adjusting the tripod legs is frustrating and a huge waste of time. This leveling head fits in between your tripod legs and tripod head. Once it’s is installed and adjusted correctly, it is very sturdy, without any slipping or play. The build quality it top notch, I wouldn’t expect anything less from Manfrotto. If you’re undecided between getting this or a cheaply made version from a different manufacturer, remember the old adage, you get what you pay for. 5

Put between your tripod and inexpensive head to get ball head utility from a still photography tripod - or mount on a solid car mount (not the suction cup kind) to get a low profile ball to level and aim your video camera. Skip the head entirely if you're going to do a lock off. (unless you want dramatic tilted angle) 5

While this piece was bigger than I expected, it is solid, high-quality, and quick to solve leveling issues. I added this to my Manfrotto BeFree Advanced carbon tripod. While it does add weight, it makes leveling on uneven terrain simple and fast. And, you can easily remove it if you want to pare down your gear. I'm super happy with my purchase. 5

It's compact size and ease of use makes it a must have for me. It's a really nice product and makes setting up quickly a breeze. After having one I don't know what I would do without it. If anything the ball could be machined smoother for quicker more precise adjustments. 5

This leveling head has way more travel than I expected, which is a good thing. I would go so far as to say it has as much travel as a Matthews M25 does with it's ball. Everyone with a tripod and head should get one of these. I use it for video. 5
