The bag is big enough to hold my 2 lenses, spare batteries, 2 camera bodies, and my wired shutter release device. But it is not overly big. It also has room for my 3rd lens (that I don't have yet)

This is my fourth Ruggard bag, and I am very pleased with them all.

I honestly had no idea what size I'd need but this one looked right in the pictures. It fits my 28-70, 70-300, and 100mm 2X macro. Even the telephoto can be left on my A7ii and fit snugly in the middle. If it were any smaller I'd be squeezing stuff in. If it were any larger I'd have to haul/store extra bulk.


The quality appears spot on and all the interior surfaces are very soft. The flexibility of the internal dividers is nice for accomodating lenses with a larger diameter than others as well.

Already own 2 other Ruggard bags of different sizes and I needed one in between those two and this #44 fit the bill. Never had a problem with any of my Ruggard bags and would certainly recommend them.

I needed a bag to hold multiple camera lenses and my camera this one fits them perfectly with it's customizable inserts.

I’ve already taken this case out on several trips. It carries my D7500 with attached lens, plus an extra lens, with no problem. It also has ample room for the extras, such SD cards, additional battery and camera carry strap. Easy to carry either with the supplied shoulder strap, or by the carry handle. Also, has a back strap that fits over my suitcase handle, which helps lugging baggage and camera from hotel to hotel.

Very roomy, has cushioning, and is affordable. Great for your standard photo shooting gear when you need portability. Reminder, it is fairly big. Also, one complaint is that the movable compartments are a little stiff, but once they're in place that's a good thing.
