This tiny printer outputs some really impressive photos. It's quick and at-least for me - seems very affordable per print cost. Hardware wise, it's nice and of decent quality. The screen is just OK, but definitely getting the job done. It's a nice tiny box on my desk that let me express my photography in a new, fun way. 5

Firstly the printer is great at making detailed photos quickly and with minimal setup or maintenance. The price per page is easy to see from the refill packs. This printer fills a niche of many users. You can power via usb-c using a (usb-c pd 20v barrel adapter cable) from a power delivery type power adapter common for laptops, the unit can pull 20w at 2amps so 45w max. Have sucessfully printed from a 25w pd samsung power bank as well. The 20v standard of PD outputs is lower than the included 24v adapter, but the optional canon battery outputs 19v dc so the 20v should be safe. Makes for an even more portable solution. 5

I decided to give this printer a shot after seeing it recommended as a way to connect with digital photography in a similar way to the old film days. It's really nice to be able to put a photo I took with my DSLR into the real world in the comfort of my own home as a proof print, and makes me want to do more with printing. The printer also let me make a whole bunch of physical keepsakes for my grandmother following her recent birthday family trip, and the look of delight on her face was worth it all by itself. The quality of the prints is fine - I don't know how it stacks up against previous Selphy CP printers, but it's better than my last home photo inkjet - and I feel like the print speed is totally acceptable for what this thing is doing and how it works. I only wish they made a version that could print on 5 or 8 inch paper, too! 5

The above title says it all. Canon, please make a thermal 8x10 printer. This little guy is the best. Quality of prints is top notch and pretty good with acurate flesh tones. I will be using this in the studio to provide a quick gift print to my clients. Easy peasy set up too. 5
