Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is it compatible with the DMW-XLR1 adapter attached to the GH5?

A: Yes, this offers clearance to connect the XLR1 adapter to the GH5.

Q: 2. Will this works with Medium Photoflex Litedome?

A: Yes this will work with a Medium Photoflex Litedome.

Q: 3. Would this have a female thread to allow a lens support to be screwed in to the bottom of the lens? Or is this just a knob?

A: Yes, the FUJIFILM Rod Bracket for MKX18-55mm T2.9 Lens has a female and a male screw.

Q: 4. I need this or the one that is longer with a elastic band inside it that splits in half to fold over to pack. But extends when doubled or just put together like two pieces connected by the inner elastic cable. It is very precise in that it fits 1 of four into the photogenic aluminum mount for my flash heads. This item was back ordered or never came to ship. I bought a replacement but its smaller. The photogenic softbox is large rectangular with silver or gold or white inside and has another soft diffusion square that can be velcro to the front between the flash bulb and subject making it a reflector and a softbox at tgd same time. I go to the site and they want to sell a new one. I will not buy again from them if i cannot fix what i already have!

A: Unfortunately, Photoflex does not offer their softbox replacement rods with a bungee cord inside. Chimera is a brand that does, but their rods do not fit Photoflex softboxes. If you have a Chimera softbox and need this type of rod, please send us an e-mail with the make/model of your softbox to stagelighting@bhphotovideo.com so we can recommend the correct item.

Q: 5. Does the kit comes with Broncolor Focusing Tube Mount and Base for Para 88 and 133 with Tilt Head and Safety Rope?

A: Yes, focusing tube mount, tilt head, and safety ropes are included.

Q: 6. In the second photo above, there is a light mounted from the back like a regular softbox. Does that mean you can put Siros or other broncolor lights considering they all have the same front mount. Someone above (dan) has said that you cant. Can this point be clarified please?

A: According to the overview, "this version of the [Broncolor Para 88] is rear-firing and has an F-type rod, meaning that its optional flash head points in towards the back of the reflector. Those looking for front firing should purchase the FT rod or a kit that comes with it." Unfortunately, it seems those items/kits are no longer available with us.

Q: 7. Are these rods all steel construction?

A: This Photoflex rod is comprised of aluminum.

Q: 8. Will the Kopul Stereo Right-Angle 1/8" Male Mini-Jack to XLR Male BH #KORSMXM20 also allow you send signal from a timecode generator to your Sony FS7? How are the two cables functionally or anatomically different?

A: While the Kopul and the Camvate cables are basically the same. The Camvate model has a higher quality for Time code use and it would be the suggested cable to work with on the Sony FS7.

Q: 9. Aside the Pulso Head adapter is there something else I should consider buying? Like this Focusing Device 33.504.00 for example. Is it necessary?

A: No additional items besides the Para Adapter for Pulso is required for operation of the para, however, accessory diffusion or light grids could be considered.

Q: 10. Which adapter would I need for using with the Broncolor Siros 800S?

A: Best is to get this kit. It comes with what you need to attach the light to the Para 88.Broncolor Para 88 Reflector Kit with Focusing Rod F B&H # BRP88RK MFR # B-33.483.03
