The black Countryman E6X Omnidirectional Earset Mic, Low Gain with Detachable 2mm Cable and LEMO 3-pin Connector for WisyCom Wireless Transmitters is a versatile blend of the E6 and the E6i earset that features a springy, thin earpiece and a flexible boom and is suitable for use when a few people will be using the same mic.
The E6X earset can be used on either ear for capturing audio and rejecting unwanted sound, feedback, or surrounding noise from stage monitors or nearby speakers in houses of worship, theater, and outdoor vocal and speech applications.
The low-profile, omnidirectional E6X earset virtually disappears against the skin, so performers will forget they're wearing a mic. This version offers the lowest gain for the most powerful vocals that require the highest overload. In addition, the earset comes with three protective caps with different high-frequency response characteristics that control the amount of crispness or sibilance (response at 15 kHz). This omnidirectional E6X earset's cable terminates to a LEMO 3-pin connector for direct connection to WisyCom MTP30, MTP40, MTP40S, MTP41, and MTP41S wireless bodypack transmitters.

The Countryman earsets are very small, lightweight, and the least visible headworn microphones.
The E6 Flex or E6X offers a versatile blend of the E6 and the E6i. With a springy, thin earpiece and a flexible boom, the E6 Flex is secure on the ear and fast to fit without compromising true invisibility and sound.
The E6X's stainless steel boom is tough and can be bent and re-bent to fit different performers. It is highly resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps. The earset should always have a protective cap in place to keep sweat, makeup, and other foreign material out of the microphone.
The E6X earset's flexible boom is easily shaped right on the performer's face. Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. This omnidirectional version includes three protective caps—+4 dB (bright), +8 dB (very bright) and +0 dB (flat)—that controls the amount of crispness or sibilance (response at 15 kHz.)
Easy adjustment keeps the mic in a comfortable position for rejecting unwanted sounds. The omnidirectional E6X earset provides more isolation and is suitable for situations where there are loud monitors, extreme feedback, or environmental noise.
The included removable, quick-swap cable detaches from the actual earset, making it completely replaceable in the event of a short or break. The replaceable cable design makes upgrading wireless microphone systems easy as they are available in a wide selection of connections to accommodate most wireless transmitters.
Related Questions and Answers
Q: 1. Does this work with a D5500? Just double-confirming.
A: Yes, this would work with the Nikon D5500
Q: 2. Has anyone used this for long exposure work, say 5-8 minutes? I am concerned that this bulky coiled cable would cause serious vibration on even the slightest of wind or breeze. It takes very little vibration to ruin an image as you well know. I'm really not sure as to why this cable is so long to begin with.
A: The longest exposure I have used this product for is about 1 minute while taking shots of the night sky. The coiled cable that I have did not move around at all during the slight breeze it endured and my images were sharp. It seems the weight or bulkiness of the cable prevents movement during a slight breeze. I used the wireless remote so the cable was attached to the camera via the hot shoe attachment. Using this configuration, there is enough coil in the cable so that you can wrap it around part of your tripod or camera to avoid any unnecessary movement of the cable. You have two connection options. Connect the cable from your camera directly to the hand held trigger (and this is why the cable is so long) or connect the cable from your camera to the hot shoe attachment so that you may use your tirgger wirelessly/remotely. I hope this helps.
Q: 3. Does this work with the D3400? Also does it help shoot timelapse video?
A: No, the D3400 does not take a plug in remote. It takes an infrared remote or you can pair it with a smartphone using bluetooth.
Q: 4. I see that it can take from 1-399 shots. If I want to take a time lapse of over 399 shots, will it require me to reset it or will it keep taking pictures?
A: If you want to take more than 399 shots, you would not need to reset the remote. You would simply need to set it to take an unlimited amount of photos. The remote could then continue to trigger the shutter until the camera ran out of batteries.
Q: 5. How do I get a Canon Rebel T6 to complete all shots in bracket mode (AEB) with the Shutterboss in Interval Mode? I have the camera on burst and AEB, which works fine and gives me three bracketed shots when I hold the camera's shutter button down, but the Shutterboss only depresses the shutter long enough for the next shot of the bracket.
A: Have to change the mode on the Shutterboss to get more than one shutter press. There are a couple of ways to do this. One, just push the right button on the Shutterboss and it will change the single box at the bottom of the display (shutter controls) to a continuous shooting box. This will have it press the shutter multiple times in a row until you let go, but doesn't stop at the end of your bracket. The better way, IMO, is to keep pressing to the right until you get to the intervalometer settings. I leave DELAY at zero, LONG at zero, INTVL at 1 second and change N to the desired number of bracketed shots (press and hold the center button of the directional pad to change). This way, one button press of TIMER START/STOP (not the shutter button) will automatically press the shutter button the desired number of times and stop.Hope this helps!
Q: 6. Do you ship this product to Finland? If, what are shipping costs, are there any other fees such as taxes?

Q: 7. can I use it for timelaps photography?!
A: Definitely
Q: 8. Is it made in the US, not just designed in the US, but actually manufactured in the US?
A: The Acratech Ultimate Ballhead is made in the USA.
Q: 9. Is this compatible with nonSony lenses on the A7II?
A: I use this product regularly with my A7II with no problems.Since it plugs into the side of the camera, there really shouldn't be a problem. If you are using a lens adapter you'll need to shoot manually using peak focusing.
Q: 10. Does this work with the 5D mark ll? If not then what Vello intervolemeter does?
A: Yes, the Vello Shutterboss Version II is fully compatible with the Canon EOS 5D Mark II.
