A: Plastic. It's not a Pelican case but the experience I've had with mine has been that it is suitable for the job and price point.

Q: 2. Can I use this in the studio and shoot the camera through it without any glare or reflection into the lens? Or is this only for live / stage use?

A: While it may be possible, that would not be recommended. There is no hood as you would find on camera teleprompter system to avoid any glare issues. This is designed for a different purpose.

A: No it can not work with the Ronin SC2 gimbal.

Q: 4. How does the iPad/Software work? Can you control whats on the iPad screen from off camera, or what am I missing? Thanks

A: You have to download an app onto the iPad. We use PromptPlus Pro. You upload your script, and it tracks your voice as you speak so the script will move as you read. Or you can control the script manually through your phone app.

Q: 5. Is it compatible with Arabic language since the Arabic letters start from the right to left?

A: This kit only holds the iPad and is has nothing to do with the iPad teleprompter app. In the iPad you need to have a teleprompter app that recognizes Arabic. A search on iTunes will reveal such apps.

A: Sorry, Onetakeonly Pad Prompters maximum iPad size is 91/2 .

A: This works with iPads measuring up to 10" diagonally. The 10.2" might be just a bit too large for this system.

Q: 8. What is the widest focal length that can be used (full frame) ?

A: While this is something that would really need to be tested out to determine 100%, with a full frame camera you would probably not want to go any wider than 24mm, maybe even a bit more telephoto.

Q: 9. Does this teleprompter work with an iPad mini?

A: The area where the tablet lays on is really one big square. There are some bungie cords on the edges to hold down the bigger ipad, but you can just have the mini rest ontop of the teleprompter and it will be fine. As stated, it's just one big flat resting area for a tablet. You can thrown your phone up there if you want.

Q: 10. Could this be used with a Sony Handycam HDR Sony PXW-X200 XDCAM?

A: Yes it could be. This Prompter has a base plate that accepts Camcorders and DSLRs. You should be able to attach a camcorder like the PXW-X200 to this unit.
