The Modular Cage Kit with Top Handle from CAME-TV is designed to be used with a Z Cam E2 camera (available separately). It features threaded holes for attaching accessories and a rosette adapter on the side for mounting a handle or other accessory. Two threads on the base of the cage and an additional one on top secure the camera to the cage and provide anti-twist control to keep the camera body parallel to the cage. A top handle is included.

Q: 1. Can you use a motorized zoom lens and have it controlled through the lanc? If so which one would be best? at least 12 to 1 optical is needed

A: We are sorry to say that we are not aware of any zoom lens that can be controlled through a LANC with the camera that is 12x.

Q: 2. Could this fit the LUMIX bgh1?

A: It will not. This is for Z Cam Flagship models, not the Lumix BGH1.

Q: 3. Can you attach a trigger (like the Godox R2pro II C) to the camera's hot shoe while using this cage?

A: Yes you can still attach a trigger to the camera while using this cage. The cage doesn't block the hot-shoe on the camera.

Q: 4. Does this camera simultaneously output HDMI when internally recording?

A: Yes the Z CAM E2 Professional 4K Cinema Camera HDMI output would be live and support external recorders and displays.

Q: 5. Does The ZCam E2 have unlimited runtime? or will it automatically shut off?

A: Yes it does. The ZCam E2 will record for as long as the media and recording setting allow.

Q: 6. I know the camera is capable of recording slow-motion 120fps, but is it capable of recording real-time 120fps?

A: A camera that shoots 120FPS has recorded 120 frames in that second. What happens next is up to post production. Normally you play it back at 24 or 30 FPS and that is why it looks slow. A: Yes, this has a Clean HDMI output.

Q: 8. Is the camera on par with Red?

A: The Z CAM E2 Professional 4K Cinematic Camera is an extremely cost effective option for its price point and features as it can record in ProRes at a high dynamic range.

Q: 9. Does this fit the ZCam M4 body? If not, which cage will?

A: It will be too large for the M4. The bottom can be mounted but the fit will not be snug and we currently do not have any cages that are specifically intended for the M4.

Q: 10. Can I use Sony FE mount lenses on this camera?

A: That is not possible. This is an MFT mount camera, it will not work with Sony E or FE Mount lenses.
