The Tru-Dot Tritium Night Sight for Springfield XD 45 from Meprolight is a sight system with glowing dots that are visible under any light condition, including total darkness. When used as a complete set, the three dots align horizontally, forming an easily discernible sight-alignment. The sight can withstand stout recoil, harsh field conditions as well as solvents. This model is compatible with Springfield XD pistols chambered in 45 ACP, and includes front and rear sights with green dots.

Excellent sight that comes with a low enough mount to co-witness your existing iron sights in the glass. Perfect backup if needed. Fold down the iron sights, use the red dot. Red dot not working? Pop up the iron sights and look at them right through the glass of the Vortex. No removal needed. It can be removed without tools. A big plus. 5

I love vortex, but this guy is incredible for the price. I mounted it on an HK416 in 22LR for speed steel competitive shooting and the wide field of view makes it a breeze to aquire and the red/ green dot stands out no matter the background. 5

This is a great budget friendly red dot for any rifle or application. I like it a lot it’s clear site glass and field of view. I also like that this red dot is capable of using both red & green dot so you have both choices with the click of a button! For me this red dot is great for close acquisition shooting as most are. I am currently looking into the VMX-3T magnifier to put behind the strike fire 2 for longer distance shooting, I feel it would make a great addition with the flip style magnification option, i’ve read great reviews on that also and heard people hitting 6 inch targets from up to 200+ yards with the combination! 5

For the price can't really beat this red dot, had it on a 20 gauge slug gun and also my AR. Keeping it on the AR but worked great on both. 5
