Custom-fit to your Panasonic Lumix GH5S, GH5S Mark II, or GH5 series camera, this Basic Camera Cage from Zacuto is designed to protect your camera, and it allows for accessory mounting to expand its run-and-gun capabilities. The top of the cage features a Z-Rail and multiple 1/4"-20 threads to mount your shotgun microphone, compact light, a second monitor, or other accessories. Multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads on the bottom provide the ability to mount the cage on a rig or mounting plate. A: Since the Blackmagic Design Pocket Cinema Camera 4K is a video camera, we consider it very unlikely that anyone will make a grip for it. A grip can be valuable for a still camera, allowing longer battery life and the convenience of a vertical grip. On the other hand, a video camera needs to be lighter/smaller since they are held for longer periods or need to be on gimbals. Here weight and size become real considerations. Generally, since battery life can be extended by an external battery and the need of a vertical grip superfluous, pros tend not to use vertical grip on cameras. However, in light of how many would like to use grips in video, I will state this is just my opinion.
