A: The Angler BoomBox Strip Softbox with Bowens Mount V2 (12 x 55") at this time comes with a free grid. That can change. If a grid did was not supplied, it is best to contact B&H customer service.

A: It really depends on the distance of the subject and if the flash unit is capable of shooting at wider angles like 24mm. If so, you could be able to shoot full body.

Q: 5. I see the back panel of the box seems to have a large Square open configuration option. Can the 24" soft-box be strapped/mounted to a 1x LED LightPanel 12" Square? A: This unit is designed for speedlights. It would not be compatible with a Astra or similar light.

A: I use it with my 600 EX-RT and it works fine.

Q: 7. can this be mounted to a tripod?

A: Exactly what I did. I had an old tripod no longer used, unscrewed the top and screwed on the box. Works great, be careful of wind.

Q: 8. Is this box compatible with an Alien Bees B800 or is it speedlight only?

A: Unfortunately, this softbox is made for use only with shoe mount flashes. A similar softbox that can be used with your Alien Bees monolights is the Impact Luxbanx Duo Medium Square Softbox (26 x 26 ) B&H # IMLBSQDM and the speed ring for it which is the Impact Speed Ring for Paul C. Q: 9. I am missing the screw that screws into the light stand part of the mount any help?

A: Take the bracket to a hardware store to match up a new bolt for the missing one. All of the bracket thumb bolts have the same thread pattern, so you only need to get one long enough to do the job (around 5/8 .) You should also be able to get a press-on plastic cap to cover the bolt head for a cleaner job. I've been there. Easy fix - good luck!
