Designed for the urban or street photographer, this small dark gray Chicago Backpack 30 from Manfrotto is a sleek bag with dual-side access to your camera and gear. It holds a mirrorless camera, a 70-200mm lens, and 2 additional lenses. The main compartment is a removable camera unit that slides out and can be carried easily by its shoulder strap. With the camera unit bag removed, the backpack converts into a weekend travel bag with a top compartment for your personal articles.

The main compartment flaps have inner pockets for storing a gimbal and other accessories, and on the opposite side of the flaps are outer water bottle pockets. A: In that case tripod maybe exceed from the top as that side is adjustable. Maybe less than 8 . The bag is awesome, you will not have a problem.

Q: 7. Does the main panel that opens to access gear easily stay open, or do you need to keep holding it open while loading/unloading gear? The Lowepro ProTactic will lay open on its own, which makes loading/unloading easy. I'm trying to compare the two.

A: If you fully unzip it, the flap will stay open.

A: We do not have a sizing chart for all bags we carry. That chart would be as big as our catalog. (Not really but close). We suggest you take your gear, lay it out on a table and measure. Q: 9. what waist size does the waist strap fit. I am a petite female and with less than a 30 inch waist find that many backpacks at the tightest setting are still too loose?

A: From testing with one of the bags at the store, at its tightest/the shortest extension, the waist straps measured a circumference of 75cm / 29.56" and its longest/loosest, it measured 166cm / 65.3". These measurements were done with a measuring tape, but could be off a few centimeters/fractions of an inch.

Q: 10. When should I use the grey side or the white side of a white balance card?

A: You should use the grey side of the card to set a starting point for your exposure. Place the card in the same light that is on your subject, fill the view finder of your camera with the grey side of the card or use a hand held spot exposure meter and set the aperture and shutter speed that is appropriate for the ISO you are using. That exposure setting is a close average exposure for the bright and dark portions of your subject. Bracket that exposure setting if necessary to get the results that you want. Use the white side of the card to set a custom white balance for the light that is on your subject. Place the card in the same light that is on your subject and fill the view finder with the white side of the card. Refer to your camera's instruction manual to set a custom white balance.
