It can be used to capture audio in sound reinforcement applications for saxophone, violin, viola, cello, double bass, acoustic guitar, flute, piano, brass, and percussion instruments.
The Isomax 2 is built with exceptional gain before feedback and excellent rejection of the surrounding environment. It is lightweight, easy to use, and is designed to handle very-high sound pressure levels. It is supplied with a foam windscreen, basic clip, and carrying case. In addition, the 5' cable is permanently attached to the mic and terminates to a 1/4" connector for direct connection to Line 6 TBP06 wireless bodypack transmitters.

Inside or outside musical instruments, placed on or hung over stages, and hidden in sets for theater, motion pictures, and TV, the mic can also be used as an audience mic or stage floor mic.
The microphone is sleek, small, and lightweight and will not distract the instrumentalist or the public. It is easy to hang without scaffolding, which eliminates the risk of bulky equipment falling on performers.
Very-low distortion at high SPL levels encountered inside instruments. It offers an uncolored and clean sound with a superflat frequency response.
A microphone with a figure-8 (bidirectional) pickup pattern is sensitive to sound coming from the front and coming from the rear, but has a very-high rejection to sound coming from the sides. Great for mid/side and Blumlein stereo applications.

Q: 1. Do you recommend the 200 or the 140 for a Sony A7III with a 16-35 2.8? thanks
A: In my honest opinion, there is not much disadvantage to having a longer nodal rail in case you get a longer lens in the future and need more room for correcting for parallax. While we haven't tested this combination ourselves, from looking at the camera + lens combination I think in this case 140mm should just about work.
Q: 2. Can the clamp be rotated 90 degrees (for use with (tripod collar) lens plates?
A: No. You'd need to dove plate adapter for that.
Q: 3. can i connect the mic into a computer?
A: Yes, the output from the receiver can be connected to a dedicated mic input on the computer or using a USB audio interface.
Q: 4. Any ideas / suggestions on how to mount the receiver to an Atomos Ninja V?
A: Yes, thanks, but thats precisely the tip I was looking for, what which specific accessory will allow me to mount this on a SmallRig cage for Atomos Ninja V.
Q: 5. Can I use this nodal slide with Really Right Stuff PG-01 Compact Pano-Gimbal Head with Lever-Release Clamp, and Leveling Base?
A: Yes, since both are arca-swiss compatible. However, the general consensus is that it's recommend that you use their own nodal slide due to slight variations in arca-swiss plate specifications. There is a PG-01 kit that comes with a nodal slide as well, albeit slightly shorter, here https://bhpho.to/3bNW28c
Q: 6. Will this work on the Nikon 500mm 5.6E PF lens?
A: According to RRS, the MPR-113 does work with the Nikon 500mm f/5.6E PF Lens.
Q: 7. The only difference between this and the Sunwayfoto DPG-2416R Multi-Purpose Rail is that with this (DMP 200R) you don't have to remove the plate from your camera to use it, right? Your camera with its plate fits into the clamp on the Sunwayfoto plate, right?
A: I think that the DPG-2416R requires the addition of something like the Sunwayfoto MCP-01 Mini-Clamp Package to complete the package and allow you to use your Arca-Swiss style plate on your camera. This would be more expensive than just buying the DMP-200R.
Q: 8. Other Lavalier microphones like Sanken COS-11 normally need the so called plug-on-power (2-5Volts). Does this system delivers this? If not, it is not compatible with professional lavalier mics.
A: Hi Balthasar, so far the Lark 150 does not support.
Q: 9. Will this fit using two screws to the foot of the AF-S NIKKOR 500mm f/5.6E PF ED VR lens? I estimate the two threaded holes in the lens foot to be on 30mm centers.
A: The Really Right Stuff 2.9" Multi-Purpose Rail (1/4"-20) will fit the AF-S NIKKOR 500mm f/5.6E PF ED VR lens using both screws.
Q: 10. Does this slide length work OK with at 14mm with a Nikon 14-24 on a full frame? I want to make sure it isn't so long that it appears in the bottom of the frame.
A: Tested with a Nikon D850 with the 14-24mm f/2.8, the lens does not protrude far enough to be visible at 14mm. It's the perfect length, actually; it does stick out a hair but isn't visible in the photo.
