The black Isomax 2 All-Purpose Microphone, Low Gain with TA5F Connector for Audio Technica ATW-T101 Wireless Transmitters from Countryman features a frequency-independent capsule that delivers tight pattern control as an all-around instrument microphone. It can be used to capture audio in sound reinforcement applications for saxophone, violin, viola, cello, double bass, acoustic guitar, flute, piano, brass, and percussion instruments.

The Isomax 2 is built with exceptional gain before feedback and excellent rejection of the surrounding environment. It is lightweight, easy to use, and is designed to handle very-high sound pressure levels. It is supplied with a foam windscreen, basic clip, and carrying case. In addition, the 5' cable is permanently attached to the mic and terminates to a TA5F connector for direct connection to Audio Technica ATW-T101 wireless bodypack transmitters.

Inside or outside musical instruments, placed on or hung over stages, and hidden in sets for theater, motion pictures, and TV, the mic can also be used as an audience mic or stage floor mic.

The microphone is sleek, small, and lightweight and will not distract the instrumentalist or the public. It is easy to hang without scaffolding, which eliminates the risk of bulky equipment falling on performers.

Very-low distortion at high SPL levels encountered inside instruments. It offers an uncolored and clean sound with a superflat frequency response.

A microphone with a figure-8 (bidirectional) pickup pattern is sensitive to sound coming from the front and coming from the rear, but has a very-high rejection to sound coming from the sides. Great for mid/side and Blumlein stereo applications.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. is it same image quality as c100 m2?same af performance?what is the battery life per charge?

A: The basic specs for the sensor of this camera and the C100 Mark II are Super35 and 9.84 MP. The ME200S-SH does have twice the high ISO performance at 204,800. The image quality should be comparable. The ME200S-SH does have Dual Pixel focus and we assume that it has the same outstanding AF performance as other Canon Dual Pixel Auto Focus equipped AF camera. You also focus using the one shot button on the camera or with the Canon RC-V100 Remote Controller. Lastly, this camera is meant really for permanent installations and thus does not have a battery internally or directly attached. It takes power from an external battery or an AC power adapter.

Q: 2. Genera menos ruido que la a7s II A su maximo iso? Es mejor??

A: With the ability to shoot at ISO Settings Up to 204,800 this camera should compare well with the A7SII. However we are not aware of any side-by-side analysis of these two cameras to truly compare them.

Q: 3. Does the 3.5mm audio input jack allow for a 3.5mm to dual XLR male adapter for 2 channels of audio?

A: Sorry, it is not possible because the output is mono. If you were to use a splitter cable only the audio of the left side will be audible. The other connector will have no sound, or a hissing noise.

Q: 4. Can the XLR-K3M receive a AES3 digital signal via the XLR inputs (from say for example, the Lectrosonics DCHR) thereby eliminating the need for a second analog to digital conversion?

A: This unit is not designed to take in AES XLR connections.

Q: 5. is this a good camera for wild life photography?

A: It certainly can be with the right lenses , rigs, or support.

Q: 6. Can I use this nodal slide with Really Right Stuff PG-01 Compact Pano-Gimbal Head with Lever-Release Clamp, and Leveling Base?

A: Yes, since both are arca-swiss compatible. However, the general consensus is that it's recommend that you use their own nodal slide due to slight variations in arca-swiss plate specifications. There is a PG-01 kit that comes with a nodal slide as well, albeit slightly shorter, here https://bhpho.to/3bNW28c

Q: 7. Is the shotgun mic mount removeable? If not, are there screws which look like I might be able to take it off with some customization?

A: Yes the shotgun microphone is removeable.

Q: 8. Is this compatible with the Sony A6500? And does it also have a headphone jack to monitor levels?

A: This is compatible with the a6500, but you must set the switch on the back to "analog" for it to function. There are no headphone jacks on this unit.

Q: 9. What is the typical time the unit will run on a single battery charge?

A: The manufacturer claims 5 hours of operation time on built-in rechargeable battery; 1-hour recharging time for the Sabinetek SmartMike+ Bluetooth Microphone

Q: 10. This camera states 10bit 422 (8bit effective) on the brochure. Is this a 10bit signal from HDMI/SDI or 8bit?

A: For both the HDMI and SDI outputs 8 Bits will be the effective number you see upon output.
