Display your treasured memories while also protecting them from damage with the black MCS 8x10" Archival Series Picture Frame. Made of solid wood, the front glass offers protection against ultraviolet light that can cause fading and discoloration, and the 5x7" mat and back-mounting board are acid- and lignin-free to prevent yellowing of certain types of papers and deterioration over time due to damaging chemical reactions, as can happen with regular non-archival paper. The frame has a wide face measuring one and three quarters inches with simple details that won't distract from the frame's subject. The frame measures one inch in depth. This model features an easel back for tabletop display.

Q: 1. I purchased these cards but cannot print them on my Epson R2000. I have talked with the Epson people and they were unable to help me. Any suggestions?

A: I use Microsoft Word, set the page size for 7 wide and 10 tall, insert photos on the front cover and save it as Card Front. I then start another Word document, type out the inside and save it as Card Inside. After adjusting my printer tray for a 7 X 10 sheet,I then print out the Card Front , flip the printed card back into the printer and print out the Inside on the opposite side of the card. Works for me

Q: 2. How to put the album back together after adding refills?

A: There are extenders you screw in at the back and the you put the back in and screw the end cap on behind the cover

Q: 3. All the photos the backdrop is hanging vertically, does it let you hang it horizontal?

A: Yes.

Q: 4. Can these trays accomodate 8.5 x 11 paper for developing?

A: Unfortunately no, for 8.5x11 a larger size tray is needed such as this 12x16: https://bhpho.to/3LzlsaX

Q: 5. Will this Album accommodate refills that hold 3.5 x 5 inch photos?

A: No, this album will not accommodate refills that hold 3.5 x 5 inch photos.

Q: 6. What is the thickness of outer cover flaps?

A: Thickness of the outer cover flaps on the PS-5781 is 9mm.

Q: 7. Description describes backdrop can be bent into a cove for tabletop. Will this bend and damage the "wire springs" the fabric?

A: No, the Angler 5x7' collapsible background kit frame can handle lots of play and is durable.

Q: 8. can I use these for developing 4 x 5 film?

A: I use this kind of tray to develop sheet film frequently (like 20 sheets per week on average) and have had very good results -- much better results than using one of those cheap daylight tanks or even the old kodak tanks with the film hangers. For 4x5 film I like the 5x7 trays better. The sheets don't float around as much in the smaller trays. If you're new to sheet film developing (or any film developing), I highly recommend the Film Developing Cookbook by Anchell and Troop. Very good reference that describes tray developing technique in excellent detail.

Q: 9. can you add sheets to this book?

A: Yes, though it's not as easy as the 3-ring binder style. The instructions for adding pages come with the album.

Q: 10. Is there an equivalent to this album that will hold 8"x12" prints? Thank you.

A: Unfortunately, there is no version of the Pioneer Photo Album that can hold 8"X12" prints.
