Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. 1. will my H3D 39 back be able to attach to my Cambo SC camera.... 2. does it come with focusing loupe

A: This back is compatible with the following 4x5 cameras: Cambo, Linhof, Calumet, Horseman, Omega, Toyo, and Kodak with Graflok back.

Q: 2. Will this device fit the Tachihara 4x5 Field camera?

A: It depends on the rear standard locking mechanism your Tachihara has. If its the standard Graflok (a sliding plate on the top and bottom) it will work. Send a picture of your rear standard minus the groundglass if you can for us to check.

Q: 3. how do you focus with a 1Ds Mark III?

A: You don't focus your Canon, you focus the camera it's attached to. Example: Mine is attached to an old Speed Graphic with a 210mm lens and I focus the Speed Graphic. By the way, you won't believe the images with the combination of a view camera and your DSLR.

Q: 4. on the 7th-12th product photo, there's a loupe on the ground glass... does this loupe included, if not how much is one...

A: The loupe is not included. There is a focusing screen included. You could try the Wista 4x Jumbo Loupe.

Q: 5. This works with a Sinar F2?

A: The FotodioX Pro Canon EOS Large Format 4 x 5 Adapter is not compatible with the Sinar F2.

Q: 6. Would this work with a Graflex press camera?

A: This doesn't replace or substitute for the camera back. A Graflock back is needed for use with this adapter. If a Graflock back works with the press camera this adapter will work.

Q: 7. Hi Friends of BH. I have the SINAR P3 and I Would like to know if work this my Sinar P3? Thank you very much

A: This will work on 4x5 cameras that have a Graflok back. If your camera has this, it will work.

Q: 8. What are the limitations of the adapter when it comes to using tilts and shifts?

A: Tilts and shifts will be extremely limited because of the tunnel vision effect it will have. The the recessed imaging sensor of the DSLR system, by design, will severely restrict any off axis positioning of the camera. Similar to holding an empty paper towel roll up to your eye and looking through it. BTW, this particular product MUST be used on a camera that has a 180 degree ROTATING Graphlock back. It will not work on the old Speed or Crown Graphic cameras. Enter an answer to this question.

Q: 9. dose it fit to the vista 45?

A: FotodioX Pro Hasselblad V Large Format 4x5 Adapter BH #FOP45SPAHV is compatible with the following 4x5 cameras: Cambo, Linhof, Calumet, Horseman, Omega, Toyo, and Kodak with Graflok back.

Q: 10. What LF camera is featured in the photos with the adapter?

A: While we cannot conclusively confirm, based on appearances, it seems to be a Horseman 4X5 monorail camera (possibly the 45LX).

Love the Holga's for their uncertainty in contrast to digital. It is a great way to try out med. format too.

Hits all the markers I expect for a camera of this price - just remember to shoot in daylight unless you want totally dark photos!

With film for Polaroid hard to get your hands on, this camera is a great alternative for the more-unique-photo lovers. Holga is so light-weight and looks so simple but can create far more amazing photos than digital formats. Plus, not knowing what will come out is part of the fun. All around great purchase!

If you are in a photographic funk, there is no better tool to break you out. This camera forces you to think in very basic photographic terms and not in f-stops or shutter speeds. Its simple and fun, and thats the whole point.

I've been using my Holga ever since I bought it and I love it! The results I've gotten have been absolutely true to Lomography and I've really enjoyed seeing the variety of light leaks and other aspects on the film. There's so much you can do with the holga, I don't think I'll ever get tired of it.

Really fun toy camera to try, I only taped the counter window and saw very little to no light leaking on my model. I've only shot two rolls, though, so we'll see going forward. Simple to use, enjoy it so far!

There were several years when a Holga camera could not be bought. Thank goodness those days are over!! The Holga isn't for everybody but if you want affordable medium format and every picture unique, get you one! Or two!

The Holga 120N is a wonderfully quirky plastic lensed camera. The resulting photos feature vignetting around the edges, relatively sharp centers and soft edges. The Holga 120N is a fun, easy to use camera which, despite its limitations, forces you to think and see things differently. It's a marvellous break from serious photography and a great excercise in creativity.

The Holga 120N with the built-in 60mm lens is the perfect camera to get your creative juices flowing once again. It's back-to-the-basics simplicity paired with the single focal length lens allows the user to become engulfed in the creative process, composing and photographing the world around him/her. To further add to the excitement, the medium format camera shoots film (12 or 16 exposures) which forces the user to carefully decide when to push the shutter - unlike so many of us today with our digital cameras and endless memory. It's compact design, light weight camera body and ease of use make it ideal for packing along for any job or recreational trip. Lastly, the price tag is perfect. For less than $30 you can have the camera and for just a few dollars more, several rolls of film and you're all set to go have fun shooting photos!
