The single Adam Professional Audio T8V is a T-Series active 8" studio monitor offering high output and extended lows on a budget, making it ideal for nearfield use in project studios, commercial recording facilities, and broadcast environments where subwoofers aren't feasible.

The speaker features Adam's U-ART 1.9" Accelerated Ribbon Tweeter with the HPS waveguide and an 8" polypropylene woofer with a rear-firing bass-reflex port. Class-D amplifiers pump 70W to the woofer and 20W to the tweeter, pushing the T8V to a high maximum SPL of 118 dB while producing a frequency response of 33 Hz to 25 kHz.

The rear panel offers balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA inputs and controls for input sensitivity, gain, high shelf, and low shelf. The Adam Professional Audio T8V ships with a power cord.

Q: 4. What is the most important spec for a device like this, is conveniently missing! What is the 'accuracy' of the mic (+/- dB)?

A: The manufacturer has not published any specifications regarding the accuracy level or tolerance range of their measurement tools such as the Phonic PAA3X Handheld Professional Audio Analyzer and its included microphone. You can reach out to them directly by email at support@phonic.com to ask if they can provide you with more detailed information.

Q: 7. Does this bag replace the Tamrac 5588 Expedition 8x Backpack or the Tamrac 5587 Expedition 7x Backpack?

A: As the 5577 and 5588 have the same exterior dimensions, one might tend to say both . Unfortunately, one of the major differences between the two is that the 77 accepts a 15.6 laptop, while the 88 accepts a 17 laptop. The Anvil 27 accepts most 15 laptops and is close to weighing 2lbs. less than both the discontinued models. There may be other variations between the 77 and 88 which might sway the answer to your question one way orthe other, but as the tamrac website suggests no replacement for the 77 and suggests try Anvil for the 88, I would conclude that Anvil 27 is meant to replace the 8x.
