The 72mm Ti Enhanced Landscape Circular Polarizer Filter Titanium Frame from NiSi helps to reduce reflections and glare by filtering out light that has become polarized due to reflection from a non-metallic surface. The light from the sun naturally becomes partially polarized due to reflecting off electrons in air molecules, causing the light to scatter into what appears as haze. A polarizing filter arranges and filters this directionally polarized light perpendicularly to the reflected light, allowing for the absorption of much of this light. This results in a noticeable reduction of glare and reflections from non-metallic surfaces and an increase in the saturation of skies and foliage.

A circular polarizer only differs from a linear polarizer in that it contains a quarter wave plane in addition to the linear polarizing filter. A: The Arca-Swiss type mounting plate system used on this tripod has a built-in slip prevention feature built into it. If the knob that tightens the plate to the ball head becomes loose enough to allow the plate to slip, it will only slip about a half inch or so before being stopped by this feature. If the knob loosens further, then the plate can be released altogether. However, you might want to consider getting a larger tripod with a wider splay of the tripod legs for your heavy setup.

A: Nikon with 70-200. When everything is locked into position it's fine and holds steady. The tripod is light weight but strong, I really like it. But, the head Is a bit of a pain making small, quick adjustments. My last tripod had a handle that often got in the way but was easy to to make positioning adjustments.
