Store, transport, and protect your Canon 18-80mm lens with this custom-cut foam Lens Case with Black Overlay from Jason Cases. The case is a customized Pelican 1510 that is water and airtight, corrosion and dustproof, and chemical resistant for carrying equipment that needs to be protected from the elements. It is made with an ultrahigh-impact structural copolymer that makes it extremely strong and durable. It has a 0.25" neoprene O-ring and includes an automatic purge valve for quick equalization after changes in atmospheric pressure. It has a hinged case lid with double ABS latches that seal perfectly, and padlock protectors that provide added strength and extra security against cutting and theft.

The case has long side and front handles, a retractable extension handle, and strong polyurethane wheels with stainless steel bearings. It has an effortless release latch for the extension handle.

We do not believe it will be compatible with this CN-E lens.

A: The Canon CN-E 18-80mm could be mounted to the EOS R5 camera with the Canon Mount Adapter EF-EOS R (SKU: CAMAEFRF), although this lens is a super-35mm lens and will vignette when using the full sensor of the EOS R5 camera. There may be a need for external power as well, for powering the servo-zoom.

A: I'm currently using it on a C300 mk I and autofocus and iris do not work. The mk I doesn't seem to supply power through the EF mount to the lens. However, zoom works fine and image looks fantastic. Attempting to workaround this by supplying power to the lens via the 12v accessory port, but Canon does not list an AC adapter in the manual or on their site, nor do they state the required amperage or wattage in the manual.

A: Because the Zacuto Lens Support for Canon 18-80mm Zoom Lens has a tilting access built in, it can be moved forwarded or backward along a 15mm rod to provided some minimal height adjustment to the setup. The Zacuto Lens Support for Canon 18-80mm Zoom Lens will work on other non-Zacuto rigs.

A: I can say that the combination of the Canon Mount Adapter EF-EOS R 0.71x and lens on an EOS R is not officially supported, as the mount adapter is intended to be used with the EOS C70, and the lens is designed for cameras with a super 35mm or APS-C sized sensors.

A: You are correct, there is only one port thereby this small lens restricts you to only one of those controls at a time. Most likely people would use the electric zoom control and a hand-on-the-lens or a manual mechanical focus control.
