A: THE CORRECT ANSWER TO THIS SPECIFIC QUESTION: I looked carefully at what Paul S. asked about (now years ago)... and was almost deceived myself. At first glance it DOES look almost like custom-fit foam for a particular camera body. But after bringing that photo into Photoshop and increasing the brightness level, I realized that this "black padded foam piece" seemingly "surrounding the body of the camera" is merely shadow/darkness. So NO, it's not included.

Q: 9. Is there a big enough sleeve for a MacBook Pro or other laptop to go in it along with all the camera equipment?

A: This works fine as a camera bag. We never use it for anything else. To my knowledge it doesn't even have a sleeve for a laptop. I am happy with the quality of this bag for the price. It isn't a LowePro but it is very serviceable.
