Uniquely creative yet highly convenient, the Color Negative 400 Simple Use Film Camera + Underwater Case from Lomography is a simple-to-use reloadable camera pre-loaded with a 27-exposure roll of Color Negative 400 film. This versatile film is known for its bold and bright colors and flexibility for use in a variety of lighting conditions. The camera further complements working with this film with the inclusion of a built-in flash, which has three swinging gels to produce colored flash effects. The Simple Use camera also has a wide-angle 31mm f/9 lens, with a fixed focus range of 3.3' to infinity, a fixed shutter speed of 1/120 sec, and a clear window viewfinder for lining up your shots.

In addition to the Simple Use film camera, this bundle also includes a dedicated waterproof case that protects the camera for underwater use up to 33' deep. This clear case permits winding and shutter release control and has its own flip-up window finder for composing images. Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. I know this is a disposable camera, and it's not too big an issue, but is it possible to turn the flash off and shoot with only natural light, or does the flash always fire?

A: Yes, the flash in the Kodak Tri-X 400 Single-Use Flash Camera can be turned off.

Q: 2. Where would one get the film developed anymore?

A: There are a variety of labs around that process the film as well as the B&H processing counter located in the store.

Q: 3. Can this be used with a Kodak M35?

A: The Kodak GC/UltraMax 400 Color Negative Film is compatible with the Kodak M35 camera.

Q: 4. what is the expiration date of this item? thank you

A: Unfortunately we do not have access to our inventory to inspect the expiration dates of our film. We store film according to industry standards, and any film that is 6 months from expiring or less is never sold as new, but rather featured and discounted as short-dated film. The volume of film that we buy and sell however in general keeps our shelves stocked with fresh stock on most popular film types.

Q: 5. Does this camera give imprinted dates on the film?

A: Kodak Tri-X 400 Single-Use Flash Camera (27 Exposures) does not provide time and date stamps on the images.

Q: 6. Your blurb says "a cross-processed look with saturated colors and iconic grain". Don't you mean de-satuated here?

A: For the Lomography LomoChrome Metropolis 2021 100-400 Color Negative Film, unique chemical formulas set the LomoChrome color negative films apart. The brand-new, experimental 2021 formula LomoChrome Metropolis features punchy contrasts and muted tones with intense pops of color. Some sample photos can be found here: https://bit.ly/3L7i4GJ.

Q: 7. what is the focal length?

A: That information is not listed by Fujifilm. We would be of the opinion that the focal length of this camera would be in the range of 28mm-32mm for a medium wide field of view.

Q: 8. Can I use this camera more than one time?

A: This is a disposable camera that can't be used more than once.

Q: 9. Does this camera come with development instructions?

A: just take the camera to a pharmacy that develops photos.

Q: 10. what is the expiration date of this item?

A: Unfortunately we do not have access to our inventory to inspect the expiration dates of our film. We store film according to industry standards, and any film that is 6 months from expiring or less is never sold as new, but rather featured and discounted as short-dated film.
