You can not use any other cartridge model in this printer and you can not use this printer's cartridges in any other printer.

Q: 4. can I use high yield black cartridge with standard other colours?

A: Yes, one could use the high yield version of the Epson T822 Black Standard Capacity Ink Cartridge with Sensormatic with standard capacity inks for the other colors.

A: Yes this is a pigment based ink

A: It really depends on the image. Light Magenta is one of the ones I change the most. I'd say 75 13x19 with normal saturation and color balance. More saturation can be dramatically less - 40-50. But I do buy 2 for every yellow.

Q: 8. My P400 printer has both matte and photo black cartridges. Why is there not a cartridge kit offering both black cartridges?

A: This item comes with the following Black ink cartridges (EPCLBUCR2880 and EPCBUCR2880). These would be considered the Ultra Chrome K3 line of inks.

A: This is original manufacturers ink, they do not come with a manufacturer's warranty.
