Flown with it 3 times now. holding up great. Very sturdy and protective. The soft pack is great and necessary. Holds 4 light stands, Westcott backdrop system, 2 soft boxes, extension cord, and 1 umbrella. I recommend a strap for the center of the case when traveling. Also TSA locks. Everyone assumes it is golf clubs which I would prefer over them knowing it is photo equipment.

I bought this after borrowing a similar one to fly with a bunch of light stands and modifiers. This is perfect to fit 4 of my Manfrotto 1052BAC lightstands, My large Profoto Deep umbrella, some softboxes and even my tripod.

Ultimately this case did what I wanted it to do and more -- I was able to put two sachtler tripods in there with a softbox light -- so tons of space. Unfortunately, the case didn't come assembled so I had to spend some time cutting velcro tape and foam inserts and figureing out where to put them (no instructions or photos). That wasn't easy...sort of like IKEA it's cool in theory until you're sitting there trying to do it. I didn't like how a latch popped open when I dropped it. No real way to hold those down and ended up using tape. There are ways to lock it, and both times I used plastic draw strings, those were cut off when the case came out of baggage claim -- presumably by the TSA for checking what was in it because it's unlikely that 4 of them popped off. I can report that all gear showed up well and unbroken! Solid case.

I’ve got two of these cases (the 6400 and the 6300). They’ve taken a real beating, but have protected everything inside and still look good. These really are excellent high quality cases and I especially like that they can stand up vertically for easier storage. The handles are also very comfortable. My only real complaints is that you have the put the interior padding in yourself - it’s kind of tricky to get it perfect. Don’t know why they can factory install this. I also they provided some kind of Velcro or zippered pocket for the interior to hold things like tripod plates, arms, screws, etc.
