We do know it is compatible with the Canon Mount Adapter EF-EOS R. If the Commlite adapter you own has a tripod foot that can be removed, it may fit without the tripod foot. It was also not tested with EF mount lenses, but the main issue will be with the adapter. Once the adapter fits you shouldn't have an issue with an EF lens.
