Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is there a way to dial the iso lower than 640 in movie mode? I do not see the option in silent movie control and turning the dial has no effect!

A: If you are shooting in F-Log, or if you have [Dynamic Range] set to DR400, or if you have [D Range Priority] set to [STRONG], the the minimum ISO setting available is ISO 640. If any of these are set, then you would need to disable these settings to shoot down to ISO 160.

Q: 2. If this is connected from one of the title motors to the X-T3. Can it be triggered via the FIZ Hand Unit remotely? Better yet can it be also triggered remotely from the handles?

A: Yes, connecting the Tilta Nucleus-M Run/Stop Cable for FUJIFILM X-T3 to one of your Nucleus M motors will allow you to trigger start/stop from the hand unit or the handles.

Q: 3. Will it work with an external monitor? I have the XT1 and it would work with the zhiyun screen at all

A: Yes. Not just monitor but external recorders also

Q: 4. Do you need a battery grip to use the features

A: No. The battery grip extends shooting time of video clips but all other features fully functional without it.

Q: 5. need to ask on the battery grip, do I have to buy the extra 2 batteries separately, or the battery grip comes with 2 batteries included like with the x-h1?

A: Grip does not come with batteries. Camera comes with 1 battery, so you will have to purchase 1 additional battery to use grip.

Q: 6. Does the camera body only with the ninja V monitor bunddle include camera battery and charger ? Whats exactly in the box ??

A: The X-T3 comes with the following list included in the box: NP-W126S Li-Ion Battery Pack BC-W126S Battery Charger EF-X8 Shoe Mount Flash Body Cap for FUJIFILM X-Mount Cameras Shoulder Strap Strap Clip Protective Cover Clip Attaching Tool Hot Shoe Cover Vertical Grip Connector Cover Connector Cover Sync Terminal Cover Cable Protector Limited 1-Year Warranty

Q: 7. Does it comes with guarantee? and what does it covers?

A: The Fuji kit comes with a manufacturers limited 1-Year Warranty that covers parts and labor.

Q: 8. Does it take the same battery grip as the xt-2

A: Actually no. But same batteries. And in the T3 the headphone jack is now on the body itself.

Q: 9. Does the continuous Autofocus work in 4K 60p and HD 120 fps? Can it face detect while shooting at high frame rates? Thanks.

A: As per Fuji, the X-T3 can face detect in continuous autofocus while shooting in 4K at 60 FPS.

Q: 10. How many card slots does this body have?

A: It has 2 UHSII slots

Im an architecture and landscape photographer and Ive owned Fujis X10, XT-1, XT-2 and now the XT-3. Each one gets better and better. I love the ergonomics -- so much like the old film cameras except I get instant feedback on what the shot will look like as I make manual adjustments. The lenses are first rate. If Fuji only made a tilt-shift lens, it would be perfect!

Fujifilm X-T3 has got most professionals cinema features except raw file format recording like prores, dnxhd ibis ( for those who prefer it). To top it all up has got a high quality still photographs making it a high end hybrid camera.

B&H customer service responded to all my concerns and the shipped this camera to me faster than I expected. Thank you B&H Photo

I switched from a Nikon DSLR and took this camera to Europe for two weeks and was very pleased with the overall quality and functionality. The light weight design, speed of AF, quick start time, easy dial controls all made the camera the right choice. There is so much to say about the image quality, but I’ll leave that to experts. If this is your first fujifilm camera, it will take some getting used to.

Decided to make the leap over from DSLR world and I couldn't be happier. The build feels great, as a Nikon user I adapted to the interface very quickly. Aside from the great quality and fantastic image quality it also just feels fun to shoot.

This is the best digital camera Ive ever owned.  Superbly built, excellent image quality and autofocus, great customizability, all in a relatively compact and lightweight (for the type of camera) package.  Its a complex camera and Ive only had it a few weeks, so am still getting to learn all of the features, but so far, Im really impressed.  Up to now, Ive been using m43 cameras (mainly Oly EM10), which Ive loved for their compactness and light weight combined with good image quality, but was getting frustrated with their autofocus limitations. This camera solves those problems, offers superior image quality, and is still small and light enough to take hiking and backpacking.

After considerable thought I decided to upgrade from my Fuji xt1 to the xt3. Very happy so far with the improvements over the xt1 such as two card slots, better autofocus, and the locking dials (I kept bumping the xt1 dials and changing settings). Now if only my skills improve as much so I can take advantage of this great camera. B and H was the best as always. Waiting for my check for selling back the xt1 and some other gear.

Tried the X-T30 after having a X-T1 & X-T2. It was to small and just didn't feel right. Sent it back to B&H know problems and bought the X-T3 which I was going to get in the 1st place. Thanks B&H for your great customer service!!!

I sold off my Canon 5D3 and L-lenses five years ago to begin a migration to mirrorless. Among the mirrorless options available at the time, Fujifilm appeared to have the best line-up of high quality, affordable, and fast prime and zoom lenses. I am not pedantic about FF vs. APS-C, as long as the camera system is usable in low light and has lenses covering all the classic FF equivalent focal lengths. So, I began investing in Fuji glass and purchased an X-T1 to shoot it with.

The X-T1, a charming camera in many ways, fully met my image quality expectations. However, it fell short in terms of overall camera responsiveness. When it got the shot, the results were impressive, but the shutter and viewfinder lag along with an overall camera sluggishness meant plenty of missed shots. Fujifilm has a reputation for being responsive to customer needs, so I waited patiently for them to address what in my opinion were the biggest limitations of their earlier cameras.

Now, with the X-T3, I feel like Fujifilm has finally delivered on the promise of mirrorless. They have produced a camera that responds more like a DSLR than a 1980s programmable calculator. It meets my needs in every area that is important to my photography: rugged build, weather sealing, usable ISO 12800, fast and reliable operation all at price, weight and size appreciably less than its FF competitors. I am delighted with my purchase.

Note that I shoot mostly events and some sports, so features such as IBIS are not particularly important to my work. If your shooting requires image stabilization, or if you need a full frame sensor, or if it is important to have the very latest and greatest technology in your camera, then the X-T3 is likely not the best option for you. On the other hand, I find it difficult to imagine a real world shooting situation where I would not be able to get the shot using an X-T3. That is not something I could say about just any camera.

What makes this better than the X-T2.  I had an “event” with my T2, which required replacement, so thought I’d upgrade at the same time.  I don’t shoot much video, and I love the IBIS of my H1, so maybe the improvements are wasted on me. Don’t misunderstand: I love the camera. But I also loved my T2.
