Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does this scope come with a padded case cover?

A: I see multiple answers with varying responses. The real answer is NO, it does not come with a padded case. However, it does come with a nicely appointed case with a heavy material and smooth zipper. The case can be left on the scope and used to as a rain cover or protective cover as it can be opened on both ends. Hope this helps!

Q: 2. working temperatures ?

A: Buy a high quality fixed eyepieces such as the ones referenced above. Stay away from zoom eyepieces (image quality is not as good, in my humble opinion. Spend more money and get several fixed eyepieces--one that will let you get you fairly close and that will provide a wider field of view, and one that will enable you to get much closer and that will give you a much narrower fov. With this scope, you should have no problem using a high power ep to get up close and see great detail. (Also make sure you get and use a very sturdy tripod.)

Q: 3. Can the Pentax PF-65ED II be used to look up at the moon and stars ?

A: Yes , for casual viewing

Q: 4. What do I need to attach a Sony E mount to a Celestron Ultima 100 or 80? Thank you

A: Hello Rolando, thank you for your inquiry. Sony T-ring adapters are available for the Sony E mount. Check with B&H Photo. With such an adapter, all Celestron scopes that accept T-ring connections should be compatible.

Q: 5. Are there any extenders or eyepieces for increasing the magnification? Scope is just OK at 200 yards and would like something to see targets at 300 yards; less than an inch.

A: Unfortunately no this scope we do not have any add on eyepieces for this scope. My sincere apologies.

Q: 6. Is the scope designed for attachment of a Canon T3i?

A: Yes with Celestron T-ring 93419 for Canon EOS. Have a good day. Serge

Q: 7. Does the T mount fit nikon?

A: If you have a Nikon DSLR all you will need is an M42 T Adapter with a Nikon Mount. Then they will work.

Q: 8. Would the TeleVue 40mm Plossl eyepiece focus OK with this scope?

A: Yes, the Tele Vue Plossl 40mm eyepiece will fit in the Pentax scope. The Pentax scope can use any 1.25 eyepiece. But it hasn't been tested to our knowledge, so your results may vary.

Q: 9. Will it accept 1.25 astronomical eyepieces?

A: The Celestron Ultima 80 20-60x80mm Spotting Scope does not accept astronomical eyepieces however you could consider the Celestron Regal 80mm scope instead: https://bhpho.to/3FhBxAv

Q: 10. I wear glasses. Can you tell me If the eye relief is good on this scope. Also what eyepieces would you recommend if this is my first scope and I am using it for birding?

A: Yes this scope would be good for someone that wears Glasses, and needs good Eye Relief. The Pentax XF smc 6.5-19.5mm Zoom Eyepiece (1.25") would be a good choice for Birding. Link to Eyepiece: https://bhpho.to/2JaipuN
