Equally suited to everyday carry, outdoor recreation or emergency preparedness, the HyperBeam Vigour 55 flashlight from Night Detective features a bright, sharp beam and a durable design. Its 5-watt LED produces a 200-lumen output.

Measuring just under 6", the Hyberbeam Vigour is constructed of aluminum alloy with a knurled grip and a tailcap on/off button-style switch. Its crenellated bezel can serve as a window-breaker or a tactical tool, and the anti-roll ring helps make sure it stays put when you set it down.

A: The flashlight would take a standard 9 volt battery. To change the battery the lens cap pulls off. Slide the internal components out to access the battery.

Q: 6. How do I replace the battery? The instructions say something about clips but I can't find any clips.

A: On the front of the Celestron Night Vision Red LED Flashlight there are clips on the side that one can depress to remove the front lens. Once the lens is removed the bulbs and circuitry can come out to reveal the 9V battery.

Q: 7. Is this a 670 nanometer red light?

A: The LEDs emit visible red light but a particular frequency is not specified. So if you need something in the upper end of the near-infrared spectrum I would suggest looking for another light. This is a lower end light, consisting of two LEDs a rheostat and 9V battery connector in a non-weather resistant case.

Q: 8. will it solve a MacBook m1 handshake issue with LG TVs ??

A: Yes it will, if your Kramer will work with HDCP protected content and pass EDID.

Q: 10. I have Xfinity cable box connected to a Sony H800x tv with eArc that is connected to a Sonos Arc. I am having lip synch problems and talked to Sony and Sonos however we were not able to fix it. Will this device correct the lip synch problem? Is the device powered?

Variable brightness. Bright enough to write notes on clipboard or check stage gear on a dark set. 9V battery is easy enough to procure. 5

I do not believe I have ever reviewed a flashlight before. This one is a neat convenient package. Interesting too that it has a 9 volt battery. Works well with a rotating switch. I like it give it a try 5

I'm one of those people that don't appreciate my night vision to be obliterated by a powerfully obnoxious flashlight. Except for the days before and after the new moon, I can generally see well enough to make my way around the farm at night but there are those days when I can't see anything without a little help. The dial on this red LED flashlight allows tiny incremental increases or decreases in light. It is plenty powerful for the darkroom or for star gazing activities which it was created for. I use it for walking outside also, since living in the country a person can walk right into a tangle of roots and fall down. The light doesn't startle my chickens either. It's a great all around little tool that is perfect for night time or dark spaces. 5

Tried this little beauty in the kitchen with the lights off. Worked like a charm and I didn't have trouble seeing newsprint with the aid of this light. I would highly recommend this if you plan to take night sky pictures. Anyway, it's a lot better than breaking your arm or leg in the dark, or, worse yet, not seeing the edge of a dropoff and taking a hike through the air! 5
