Ideal for instructors, presenters, worship leaders, and dancing singers, the Samson Concert 88x Wireless Headset Microphone System offers straightforward operation and quality performance. It features a bodypack transmitter, the HS5 headset mic, and a tabletop true-diversity receiver with XLR and 1/4" outputs and a rackmount kit.

With 100 available frequencies, simple syncing via IR, and one-touch automatic frequency scanning, you can quickly get started and find a strong channel. Two AA batteries (available separately) will power the microphone for up to eight hours, and the mic's power switch doubles as a handy mute function. If you move beyond the system's 300' line-of-sight operating range, the integrated tone key and auto mute functions mitigate transmission of undesired noise.

The Concert 88x system is designed for easy setup and reliable operation. Its true-diversity design minimizes dropouts while tone key and auto mute functions prevent unwanted noise when the transmitter is off or out of range. By operating from 470 to 494 MHz in the UHF spectrum, it avoids interference from Bluetooth and Wi-Fi signals.

The CB88 bodypack transmitter connects to the included HS5 headset condenser microphone, which features an adjustable form-fitting headband and a unidirectional polar pattern to reduce the pickup of ambient noise—perfect for active performers and instructors.

Two AA batteries (available separately) can power the transmitter for up to eight hours of operating time. Use the power switch to mute the mic between performances or turn it off for battery conservation.

Beneath the battery cover, you'll find a plastic screwdriver for adjusting the transmitter's input sensitivity. Generally avoid the maximum gain setting as it can cause distortion when the mic is used on loud sources.

The tabletop receiver includes a rackmount kit for easy installation in an equipment rack or road case. Its balanced XLR and unbalanced 1/4" outputs enable proper hookup to mixers, audio recorders, and PA systems.

  • UHF wireless system
  • 100 operating channels across 25 MHz bandwidth
  • Up to eight systems can be used simultaneously per frequency band (region dependent)

  • One-touch automatic frequency scan finds the best operating channel
  • Two-digit LED display on receiver

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can you add more headsets to the system - so 10 people can all communicate at once?

A: With one hub alone, you can connect up to 8 remote wireless headsets, plus one headset wired to the hub for the 9th user. You would not be able to have 10 users communicate with a single hub, but it is possible to expand further. Using the interlink cable # EAHB35IL , you can link two hubs together for a total of up to 16 users to talk and listen on the system.

Q: 2. Any hard case recommendations for the 4 pack?

A: Here's a recommendation for a case where the foam can be adjusted to handle the 4 headsets and charger tray, BH #PE1650FB.

Q: 3. boa noite trabalho com sistema de corte de video e gostaria de compra 4 mas gostaria de saber se todos fala com todos os 4 se falam ????

A: It is designed to accommodate four-person crews who need to communicate wirelessly while simultaneously working with their hands. All 4 users can talk to each other.

Q: 4. WHAT EARTECH SYSTEM IS SUITABLE FOR New Zealand?

A: The "AU" systems from Eartec (like this one) can be used in New Zealand.

Q: 5. Can the Eartec hub (7) system be used to expand an existing 4-Eartec system to a total of 11 working units?

A: With 1 hub you can use up to 8 wireless headsets in full duplex and with 2 hubs linked together you can use up to 16 wireless headsets in full duplex.

Q: 6. Hi, just want to confirm package detail before check out.It appears that this package contains 5 rechargeable batteries for the headsets, and 1 rechargeable battery for the hub. If it doesn't come with a stand alone charging unit(like the multi base in the accessories), do we just plug the AC adaptor into the headphone with the battery inside to charge the battery?

A: The Eartec HUB systems all ship with an 8 bay multi-charging unit that can accommodate charging of all the included units simultaneously. https://bhpho.to/2hHIIVo

Q: 7. Our Church bought a 4 pack headset and we are wondering if we could buy another headset and somehow connect them together..?

A: Yes, if you are using a 4-person Eartec UltraLITE system that has one master headset and 3 remote headsets, you can add an additional remote headset and program it to work with the master headset. This type of system with one master headset can be used with up to 4 remote headsets for a maximum of 5 users. If you need to expand the system for more than 5 users, you can purchase the Eartec HUB Mini Duplex Transceiver Base (B&H # EAHUB) which will replace the master headset (the electronics in the master headset provide the same type of functions as the HUB), and you can use up to 8 wireless remote headsets and one wired headset that will connect directly to the HUB for a total of 9 users. Please contact us by phone or through live chat on the website if you would like further assistance with your wireless intercom system.

Q: 8. Which frequency the eartec ultralite hub operate?

A: The UltraLITE systems available here at B&H operate at 1920 - 1930 MHz.

Q: 9. Are communications contained in the earpieces (no bleed in a quiet church environment)?

A: The sound would be contained in the earpiece. The Eartec UltraLITE systems are made specifically for situations where the communication must be silent in the room, such as film and video shoots, or theater productions.

Q: 10. What is the maximum number of headsets that can be linked in this system?

A: The Ultralite system can support 4 headsets max without use of additional hardware. One master and three remote haedsets. The Eartec HUB will allow two more headsets to connect wirelessly and a seventh can be connected directly to the HUB. A max of 7 headsets can be used with the Ultralite system. 6 wireless plus one wired to the HUB. https://bhpho.to/2h0ndmZ
