Q: 1. What would be a good entry-level lighting kit to evenly light something like this? This si for a corporate client who will be producing a monthly youtube-type show for their software to a small market. I'm very interested in the chromakey background, but realise it also needs evely lit. Any recommendations for a lighting kit that would suit this (without breaking the bank)?

A: Genaray makes a kit that would work for this. https://bhpho.to/36s6gb6

Q: 2. I need a good chromakey for a corporate client who want to do their own Software Tutorials, with two presenters. Will this backdrop be suitable for video chromakey, with two people behind a trade-stand and a coupel of laptops? How do the creases chromakey (where the two angles are) get removed in the editor? I've only tried chroamakey once for video years ago, with a cheap cloth green screen, and results were not very good in the editor.

A: The background is stretched on the frame. Properly lit you will not have to worry about wrinkles or the angles of the background.

Q: 3. Can you light it from behind? OR how easy is it to light vs traditional seamless paper? Spill?

A: I contacted Lastolite with your inquiry. The manufacturer states that the Lastolite Panoramic Background (13', White) is not opaque, so light will pass through it. However, the construction of the fabric would prevent it from working like a diffuser such as the HiLite. The weave is tight and dense, so while some light would get through, it would not transmit a lot of light and it would most likely result in a hot spot rather than spreading and distributing the light across the surface like diffuser fabric would.

Q: 4. Is there a video guide for setup and takedown of Lastolite Panoramic Background (13', Chromakey Green)?

A: Trial and error will help you figure out the best way to handle it. Hint - lay each section on the floor and crawl around it to assemble/disassemble. Use velcro straps to secure each section before putting in the bag. Folding it up is rather like refolding a map!

Q: 5. Do you recommend this bracket or theVello CB-510 to use with a flash and a remote? This is to be used for weddings. Thanks.

A: Personal preference really. Both will work. I like the this one's fashionable curves.

Q: 6. Can you wash this screen?

A: You can't machine wash, but you can spot clean with a mild detergent (like Woolite or baby shampoo) and make sure to blot it dry, not rub.

Q: 7. How long is the back panel between the two pivot joints? When you fold the sides forward at 45 degrees, does the material sort of bend evenly or flow, or does it create a visible up/down crease at the pivot point?

A: As per the manufacturer, the middle panel is 2 meters wide or 6.6 inches while the outer panels are 1 meter wide or 3.28 inches wide. The material does bend evenly as you fold the frame.

Q: 8. Can the sides fold tighter than in the photo; for example, can they fold in to 90 degrees to fit into the corner of a room standing up and cover two walls at the same time?

A: Yes but the fabric becomes more loose.

Q: 9. Can it be used as a bounce?

A: You could use the Manfrotto Panoramic Background as a bounce in a pinch.

Q: 10. Do they make a floor green screen that will match perfectly with this? What is the model if so?

A: You can add BH #LABGC1012G Lastolite Chromakey Background - 10x12' - Green to the floor
