I bought this camera for use while diving. I actually had the housing pressure tested in the dive locker and brought it down to 100' prior to installing the camera. The housing passed the test. I used the camera while diving a spring in central FL. I believe my max depth was around 103'. The camera delivered high quality video with sound (as best as it can get while diving) through the housing. The only real drawback was that the owner's manual did not clearly discuss functions and specifics of the camera. I had the assistance of people familiar with various other brands of cameras similar to this one to help me figure things out.

I just recently purchased this camera in hopes to have a video camera suitable for action. This camera has exceeded my expectations. Excellent purchase!

I am extremely excited about my SJ4000! I found the charging, setup, and operation to be pretty simple. That being said, I am overjoyed that I don't have to purchase the mounts that I will need using in my car,on my bike, or even around my waist, something I hadn't considered. Initially I had my sights set on a more expensive product but my SJ4000 with WiFi fits the bill!

This camera is pretty much what everyone else is positively saying. It has a great feel, it's light, and although the directions aren't the best it took me all of 5 minutes to figure out how it works and to get it configured. I personally use it as a dash cam (along with occasional action shots/vids) and it works perfect. I've never had any experience with a GoPro, but 1. I would not pay that type of money since I'm not a photography expert and 2. the clarity of this camera is just great! I'm not really sure what more you could ask for. It's possible the GoPro has a better interface or has slightly better clarity, but for the value you can't beat it.

I did not expect much from this camera but it blew me away. It has it's limitations but for the price it comes up with a great video. I took the kids to the pool and played around with it underwater. Really good underwater video. I even used the cam in my car for vloging and the mic on the camera delivered clear audio better than my camcorder does. For the price everybody into video should have one because the camera is good and cheap so if you run over it, drop it off a mountain or have a moose swallow it, it's no big deal.

I've had this camera for around two weeks now. I use it on my motorcycle when riding. So far it has been working great. Records nice video for how much it costs, lots of settings that you can change in the camera interface. One downside is that your camera settings are erased if you remove the battery. It also doesn't have an external mic out port on it but I didn't expect it at this price point. The max size of SD card that this camera supports, according to the documentation on the box is 32GB. I reccomend turning HDR on in the settings. It includes a good variety of mounts to use. Overall I reccomend to anyone who is looking for a cheap camera for whatever.

meets all expectations

The camera takes great action video. I use it on my iceboat, sailing at hi speed. The price was the best price I could find, and delivery was super quick, as promised.

I'm using this on a pole to help perform roof inspections. The camera is great...the wifi app not so...the wifi app loses connection to often. I'm confident they will fix it because these cameras are high quality.

Now my sjcam is complete. Autonomy is essential for any job
