The waterproof 1607AirNF Wheeled Hard Case in orange from Pelican is a crushproof hard case made from lightweight HPX2 polymer that will protect and store sensitive gear. The case secures with an updated push-button latching system that uses compressive force to tightly clamp the case shut on three sides. This edition of the 1607Air comes lined but without foam or other inserts, allowing you the freedom to completely customize the roomy 21.1 x 15.8 x 11.6" interior to your specific needs and to your specific gear. Carry your case using one or more of the three overmolded handles or if it's too heavy, extend the pull handle and tow it behind you on its two low-profile, quiet-running wheels.

Your case is made of a super-light proprietary HPX2 polymer with honeycomb structural elements, which is up to 40% lighter than most other Pelican polymers. Case design features include an O-ring that seals it to an IP67-rating to make it dust and waterproof, dual 5/16" (8mm) diameter stainless steel reinforced padlock holes, and a pressure relief valve. This valve regulates the internal pressure, keeping your gear and the case from getting crushed and allowing you to open the case without having to break a tough pressurized seal that may develop. For easy identification, there's a polycarbonate card holder that may be placed on the front or side of the case.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. these wheels are very hard and cause massive vibrations, does anyone know of aftermarket pneumatic wheels to soften vibrations ?

A: To our knowledge, there are no aftermarket replacement wheels for the Pelican 1535AirTP.

Q: 2. Will the 1535 Air large enough to take a Z9 camera with 400mm F2.8 TC lens with the lens hood reversed? If not will it take the

A: Yes. The Pelican 1535Air Wheeled Carry-On Hard Case with TrekPak Divider Insert (Black, 27L) will fit the Nikon Z9 with the 400mm f2.8 lens attached.

Q: 3. Going to pick up this case to use with D700w/grip 70-200,24-70 1 SB800 second Nikon Body , 3100, if possible I'd like to fit my two GoPro's, housings, accessories a small gorilla pod... For this particular trip( Alaska) I will also have one of my LowePro BP which I will carry my MBP. So my question is, Dividers or foam? Thoughts on adding the 1519 to either, does it work best with dividers or foam. Thanks in advance...

A: I have the devices which adds a lot of flexibility and let me optimize the storage. I. Have all my underwater fear in the case, housing, 2 strobes, video light, 3 different ports (2 domes, 1 macro port) plus the lenses, and all my chargers and batteries.i also have the storage pockets on the lid which gives extra spaces for cords, chargers etc.. I use the case on dive boats and its held up great after 10 international trips and weeks on a boat. Only issue is with all your gear it can get. A bit heavy . This roller case replaced my Lowe pro 1500.Hope this helps

Q: 4. Can I remove the dividers and replace it with a foam insert if I decide I want to change it in the future?

A: Hi William!Yes you can. The dividers are totally removable in one piece.

Q: 5. Since this comes with the TrekPak divider system, is the Trekpak specific cutter included to size the dividers?

A: Yes, the Pelican 1535AirTP Wheeled Carry-On Hard Case with TrekPak Divider Insert (Black) comes with a cutter.

Q: 6. Can I use it

A: I don't understand what you're asking-- Can I use it ? Of course if you buy one you can use it. You can put almost anything into it, you can fill it with water and wash in it, you can take your lunch to work in it, I use mine for camera gear when I travel, YES, it has lots of ways that you can USE IT????

Q: 7. Would this case protect monolights: particularly an Einstein 640? I'd like to use it for airline travel.

A: Robert i believe they are. I used them for my elinchroms and they were pretty dam tight. I believe the regular paddings that we have in our shoulder bags isnt as great to protect since they have enough space for items to move but when you do foam, you are able to cut exactly as the dimensions of your product. When i put my elinchroms in it, i kept it opened once and just banged it on the ground from my knee height and noticed that they didnt move a bit. Meanwhile i will also try to add in customer shots here on the same page so you could see how i placed the lights.

Q: 8. I've been researching this bag, and am ready to purchase but am running into an issue... I've looked at the 1510 Studio Case B&H#PE1510SCB but then I found this one, B&H#PE1510DB for nearly $80 less. The only difference I've been able to find is the ability to store my laptop in the sleeve, is that all I'm getting for the extra $80?

A: Yes that is correct. That is what makes the model more expensive is that Lap Top Compartment in the lid. That is the only difference.

Q: 9. I can personilize my name in the box?

A: You can fill out the form and order a name plate from Pelican. Then apply the label to the front of the case above the handle. Contact Pelican customer service at 800.473.5422 for more details

Q: 10. Can the wheel and trolly handle assembly be removed fairly easily without compromising the integrity of the case ?

A: Yes, the wheels and handle can easily be removed and keeping the case in tact.
