We US consumers are a difficult bunch to accommodate: either it's too expensive, or we're unhappy about "advertising" for a small company, or any other host of complaints. One customer suggested using a "magic marker" to black out the lettering. While I don't know what a magic marker is, a felt-tip/flow permanent marker will also work if supporting those U.S. jobs bothers you that much.

A: While I haven't tried it in very wet conditions, I would say no, based on the material it is made of. The cushioning portion of the strap is a kind of spongy, slightly stretchy material that looks like it would absorb water, and over repeated soaking might tend to disintegrate.

A: The loops are actually made with 1/4" tubular nylon webbing so that it's extremely strong and durable while still being flexible and easy to use. The quick release buckles are extremely strong and are tested at over 145 lbs. They can be removed from the main body of the strap by squeezing both sides of the buckle at the same time.
