Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Which strap would work better as sling strap: Pro Loop Strap or Utility Strap? Would any of them feel better than the other one?

A: The Utility Strap will not accommodate SLR or digital cameras on the market they are made more for bags and etc. The pro loop is designed for cameras of all sorts.

Q: 2. Can I use on Canon R7 ?

A: Yes you can use this strap with the Canon R7.

Q: 3. Will this wrist strap fit the Canon SL3 and attache securely?

A: The recommended Wrist Straps for your Canon SL3 are the SLR Wrist Strap and the Gotcha Wrist Strap. These are both have a recommended load of up to 10 lbs. while the Cam Strap QD has a recommended load of up to 2.5 lbs. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/542422-REG/OP_TECH_USA_6701062_SLR_Wrist_Strap_Black.html https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/118894-REG/OP_TECH_USA_6701252_Gotcha_Wrist_Strap_Black.html

Q: 4. Does it really say Op/Tech USA in big letters on the visible side, or is this just for the ads? I think I would love this if that weren't so visible.

A: Yup, fairly visible company lettering but then, made in the USA, inexpensive so why not support them by giving a little promo since they're charging so little for these. Most photogs will know Op-tech anyhow. We US consumers are a difficult bunch to accommodate: either it's too expensive, or we're unhappy about "advertising" for a small company, or any other host of complaints. One customer suggested using a "magic marker" to black out the lettering. While I don't know what a magic marker is, a felt-tip/flow permanent marker will also work if supporting those U.S. jobs bothers you that much.

Q: 5. width of neoprene strap?

A: Pad Dimensions 1" x 14" Neoprene (2,5cm x 35,6cm) Webbing Width 3/8"

Q: 6. Would this work well with a Nikon D5500?

A: The Pro Loop Strap is a great option for the Nikon D5500. The loop attachments are very secure and the pad is designed to absorb the jolts of your movements while conforming to your neck and shoulders to effectively disburse the weight of your camera. Be sure to connect the male connector to the right side of your camera. This way the curve of the pad will be in the correct position. Thanks for considering our products.

Q: 7. Will it attach to a Ricoh11 and Ricoh 111?

A: It should. Looking at the photos of the Ricoh11 I see strap eyelets. The OP/Tech strap attaches using a pair of loop connectors (they're a heavy string) that should fit the Ricoh's eyelets. I use this strap to carry a heavy SLR, and I like it enough that when I wore out my first one I replaced it with a second one.

Q: 8. will this work with a samsung nx3000?

A: Unfortunately this strap will not work on your Samsung Camera. The openings on the side of the camera are very small. You can get D Rings then the strap will work. We don't carry this type of item, but you can get at a Hardware Store. They look like very small and thin key rings.

Q: 9. Would this be usable with a Canon G7xii?

A: I am a Nikon girl so I don't know for sure but I can't image it not working if you have two triangular attachments one on each side of your camera.

Q: 10. I am purchasing a Panasonic ZS100. Would this be a good strap for the camera?

A: Yes, you can use split rings to connect OP/TECH USA Pro Loop Strap with the Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS100 Digital Camera. Please open the following link if you need this accessory. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1437716-REG/ruggard_tsr_2pk_split_triangle_d_ring_twin.html

This is a great replacement for the stock strap that came with my camera. The loop system ensures that it won't accidentally slip off the camera. It is wide and comfortable around your neck. I would highly recommend this product to anyone.

This is my second purchase of this strap. I bought the first one about 6 years ago, and it's still going strong after heavy use (full-size Nikon body, large lenses.) The pad is comfortable, doesn't slip, and works traditionally or across-the-chest. The new version's straps are about 2 inches shorter than the older design, so it may make sense for taller/larger shooters to purchase the long straps that are available.

For a regular strap this is quite comfortable. the padding is helpful if carrying the camera for a while. The loops make it easy to attach various things to it.

I got this for my Fujifilm X10 because the thin strap that it came with was VERY uncomfortable. This one fits my needs 100%

The neoprene strap makes carrying a heavy DSLR much more pleasing. It's easy to attach and the quick release connectors allow you to quickly remove the main portion of the strap so it's out of the way when you mount your camera on a tripod and quickly reattach the strap when you go mobile again.

Very comfortable. Excellent for trekking. For pros, helps to free your hands for a second camera.

Replaced all my factory issue camera straps with Op/Techs - comfortable, durable and versatile neck straps. Often remove the neck part when on a monopod.

My main purpose for buying this was to make it quick and easy to detach the strap when using a tripod. It certainly achieves this but the bonus is that it makes the camera/lens combo. appear to feel a lot lighter than it did with the factory strap. Even with a heavy zoom lens it provides a comfort advantage that I didn't think was possible.

I've been using a BlackRapid RS-7 strap for years now and I really got tired of the camera bouncing around at my side which eventually ended up breaking a button on my D7000 with Grip. It also rubbed against my neck giving me a rash. I think its a great strap for lenses with tripod collars or pro DSLRs with heavy glass. Since then I've upgraded to a D610 with no grip and I didn't want to deal with the camera bouncing around again so after a month of research deciding what strap would be the best for me, I found the Op/Tech Pro Loop to be king. Its very comfortable to wear and the extra wide pad does distribute the weight more around your neck if you want to carry the camera that way (I don't). When I'm in shooting position, I have the strap around my neck but rarely let the camera hang instead of I have my hand on the camera, but when I need to go hands free, I can simple put my arm through the loop and now the camera is secured behind me and no bouncing around like the RS7 strap. Another great benefit of this strap is its lighter and smaller than the BlackRapid which makes a huge difference when wanting to travel light or put your camera in a bag. You also can leave a quick release tripod mount if desired. One suggestion I would make is using some zip ties to secure the buckles on the Op/Tech, but they are pretty rugged and the only way they would come off is with physical force. I really love it and now I take my camera around with me more often.10/10 - best strap ever! Get it. Lifetime warranty and made right here in the Good Ol' US of A.
