Be kind to your talent with the LED On-Camera Video Light Diffuser Kit from ALZO. This diffuser softens the light output of on-camera lights, most of which produce intense narrow light beams that can be harsh on the eyes of the person being filmed. This diffuser is a durable polycarbonate panel that holds its shape and resists yellowing. It attaches to the bezel or barndoors of an LED video light with the included hook-and-loop adhesive dots, making installation and removal a snap.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. This light seems perfect, except that I don't want the barn doors. Has anyone tried removing them? Eben permanently would be okay if it doesn't damage the frame.

A: The light is great for the money you pay, I removed the barn doors and nothings happen, no damage easy to removes.

Q: 2. This kit came with a diffuser insert. Does B&H sell other inserts? I'd like to cut the light output a bit more even at 10%

A: I actually have cut some diffusion material like 216 to size to help reduce the amount of output.

Q: 3. Does anyone had issues with the battery mount in the back? 2 weeks ago I've taking it to do some ENG and for some reason the contact seems to be off and I had to wiggle the battery in the mount. Now, writting those lines the contacts seems OK after wiggleling the battery. I've been using the battery that came with and some Sony NP-F970 batteries for longer shoot. I've also tried this issue with the DC input and it works fine.

A: If you have had it less than 30 days, contact B&H Customer Service. If longer, then contact VidPro for service. Vidpro Tel: 718-523-2900 Website http://www.vidprousa.com/ Email Support@VidProUSA.com

Q: 4. Can the AC adapter (presumably a wall wart) be used to power the light, or charge the battery, or both?

A: You can use the light while it's plugged in using the wall charger. But you can't charge the battery with it. You must you the external charger provided with it.

Q: 5. Can I use higher capacity Sony NP-F type batteries like those from Watson? Also, will I be able to charge said Watson brand batteries with the included VidPro charger?

A: if you will use it in a light stand like ido is perfect. But in hand held on camera setting will be heavier.

Q: 6. About the charger. Does it need 110V or 220V to work? I have 220V here in Greece. And if it's working on 110V, is there a solution to use it on 220V? Thank you.

A: It comes with the European plug adapter and it says it takes 220 or 110. I have only had it a week so I have not gotten to a foreign country yet. I think it will work fine.

Q: 7. What is the CRI of this light?

A: The CRI on this light is listed at 90.

Q: 8. Why only for video? What about night street photography?

A: You answered your own question. Why not. Just use it .Its portable and light. Go for it.

Q: 9. This may be a stupid question but would this light be compatible with a stabilizer? I mean weight wise. I have the axler nimbus dual axis stabilizer and i use a panasonic g7 to film. The stabilizer has multiple 1/4 inch mounting holes on the top but i feel like the vidpro led would make the stabilizer top heavy resulting in it being impossible to balance. Am i right or wrong?

A: I haven't used a stabilizer, so I can't answer for sure. This light is not heavy, but I assume that any weight you add will throw off the balance, unless you can counterbalance. Good luck.

Q: 10. Suitable for light painting cars?

A: Ummm i guess so. Throws a lot of light and can be a bit blinding in peoples eyes, it is dimable but not enough. For the price and power its great
