Q: 1. Apparently, buying this is the only way to get the super clamp. They're not selling the clamp on its own? Am I understanding this correctly? Seems like a bad choice since they tout how the clamp can be used with the spider crab arms.

A: Unfortunately we do not carry the grab clamp of the iFootage SA-32 Support Rod with Jaw Clamp for Spider Crab System as a stand alone item. iFootage currently does not sell this item as a stand alone.

Q: 2. re: The indexed quick release clamp is oriented for horizontal left to right camera tilting but you can change the orientation to vertical fore and aft lens tilting by turning the clamp 90 degrees using the supplied hex key. I believe this copy applies to a less expensive RRS monopod head. It appears that the top platform / clamp of this monopod head can be quickly reoriented without tools using a thumb screw. Can B&H confirm?

A: There are three versions of the RRS monopod head: 1) Standard Screw Knob Clamp; 2) Standard Lever-Release Clamp; and, 3) Indexing Lever-Release Clamp. The two standard versions require a hex key to reorient the clamp whereas the indexing version and be reoriented without tools.

Q: 3. can i use this on the BH30?

A: Yes, the Really Right Stuff PC-LR-40 Compact Panning Clamp features a built-in, patent-pending R-Mount, allowing you to rigidly mount it onto any Really Right Stuff ball head stem including the Really Right Stuff BH-30 Ball Head. Alternatively one can mount the Really Right Stuff TH-DVTL-40 Round Dovetail Plate to the bottom of the Panning Clamp to quickly attach and detach to the existing clamp.

Q: 4. Do you have a recommended storage bag for the Really Right Stuff MH-02 LR? My MH-01 came with a matching storage bag.

A: There is no bag specifically made for the Really Right Stuff Monopod Head but you could use a lens case such as this Ruggard: https://bhpho.to/45OMEMV

Q: 5. Does this work with a Nikon D800?

A: This viewfinder will not be compatible with the Nikon D800.

Q: 6. 7D field of view loss?

A: You shouldn't experience any field of view loss on the 7D with this Ziv Right Angle Viewfinder.

Q: 7. can i use it on a BH55?

A: The Really Right Stuff PC-LR-40 Compact Panning Clamp includes a flat-head 1/4"-20 and M6 screws for mounting directly to Really Right Stuff and Arca-Swiss ball heads, including the Really Right Stuff BH-55 Ball Head.

Q: 8. I want to mount this on the top, moving rail of a Manfrotto 454 Macro Focusing rail to accommodate a l-bracket attachment of the camera body. Does the tightening knob clear the bottom of the clamp when mounted on a flat surface? Also, will the anti-twist tabs fit into the 1/4" slot in the 454 top rail?

A: Good question. Thank you. There is not enough clearance to accommodate functionality of the knob when attempting to mount it with the anti-twist tabs into the 1/4 20 slot.

Q: 9. will this work on the Canon D1X body?

A: Yes, this is compatible with the Canon 1DX.

Q: 10. Is this compatible with the Nikon D610?

A: This viewfinder comes with an assortment of eyepiece adapters for use on a variety of camera brands. The adapter labeled for Nikon cameras states that it is intended for use on D300, D600, D3000, D5000. and D7000 series cameras. Package labeling indicates that the viewfinder is compatible with all Nikon cameras except those with round eyepieces (e.g. D800). All of this information would lead me to believe that it will be compatible with the D610. Hope this is of help.
