Q: 1. One of the reviews mentions they didn't like the manual aperture but the picture shows an A setting on the aperture ring which I assume means auto. Thus I would expect that the aperture could be controlled with the control dial either directly or adjusting the shutter speed. Can someone provide the answer?

A: When the lens aperture is set to 'A' the aperture is controlled by the camera and auto aperture control modes, or through the camera controls in manual aperture control modes. This is the same on all Pentax 645 lenses with the 'A' in the lens name, and you can verify by setting if the aperture ring has an 'A' setting. The aperture ring merely gives you the option to go full legacy manual mode, which is sometimes handy, but for the most part I leave mine on 'A' and even if I take a picture in manual exposure, I set the aperture with the camera wheel.

Bought these for my binoculars and I am using them with the original strap that came with the binoculars. Much better than the fasteners for the strap that come with the binoculars. Much easier to untangle the strap when it gets twisted around. I even used the Peak Design hanger strap on the box to attach my rain covers for the binoculars. It worked like a charm.

Work well, no issues at all - just have to manage the dongles on the camera/etc. We moved to the ProMediaGear QR system for our heavy medium format cameras as no dongles to manage on the camera. Still use some for our lighter gear.

I can finally use my old camera straps, being able to accessorize my camera more and I can switch between straps, I like to collect different camera straps, so this was something I had to purchase, they also come with 4 links, so you’ll get a lot of long term use from it before replacing the links. This is a must for any photographer/videographer That likes to have different camera straps and need a quick release method if you want to do video.

It’s nice to be able to easily remove the camera straps when they get in the way. These anchors seem strong enough for a big DSLR. The instructions say to replace the loops when they wear down, hopefully not anytime soon but they look like they will last. There is a neat color code to tell you when it is time to do so. The anchors come with two extra loops. I keep one on the tripod mount so I can switch one support from top right of the camera to bottom right, which works best with long lenses.

On hikes I often carry my DSLR at the ready. Stowing it in my backpack or a bag can get annoying whenever you need to grab it quickly. Hand holding it over several miles gets tiring real fast. So I cobbled together a solution of a carabiner, a thin camera strap that was permanently attached to the arca Swiss plate on the bottom of my camera. I would clip the carabiner to my backpack strap and the camera would hang in front of me. It works however it was not easy to unclip the carabiner and being only attached to one backpack strap, it put a strain one my one shoulder. Also, having only one connection point, my camera swayed a lot over rough terrain. I needed a better solution.
I looked around and found the anchor links. This provided the perfect solution. I can now attach the clips to both my backpack's shoulder straps and both links to my arca Swiss plate. I can quickly and easily remove my camera from the clips with one hand. I now have redundancy in case one of the links break. My camera doesn't sway as much over rough terrain and my camera properly hangs upside down with its weight distributed evenly on both of my shoulders. Also, I can still mount my camera to my ball head without any issues. It has made hiking really enjoyable especially on hikes that are several miles long. It has solved so many problems for me. It is simple, elegant and efficient, the hallmark of great inventions. What a great solution!

After using the Capture Clip on a week long hiking trip in Sedona, I realized that I wanted to have extra anchor links on different connect points. Awesome, quick and easy.
