Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Do they fit Nikon Monarch binocular 10 x 36?

A: I think these will be too loose on 10x36 binoculars. They fit the Nikon monarch 5 8x42.

Q: 2. Will these fit Eagle Optics Ranger 8x42 binos?

A: Unfortunately no, they are only for Vortex brand binoculars. You should contact Eagle Optic's to obtain replacement caps since we do not sell replacements.

Q: 3. Will this work with. Tamron 150-600mm mounted on a Nikon D7200? I shoot BIF and wildlife.

A: The usefulness of this device comes down to personal preference. In the movie business we called it doing whatever it takes to get the shot! From what I see of birders and my own shooting of wildlife, I would recommend you first try using the Tamron lens hand-held, particularly for BIF. If you find yourself tiring or you need to keep the lens to your eye for long periods (on a nest for example) then give this a try and it may be the answer for you.

Q: 4. Will these fit Nikon Prostaff 5 8x42mm?

A: I can't confirm that these will fit a Nikon Prostaff and you won't really know until you have physically tried them yourself...BUT I suspect they will fit. I wanted something to put on the ends of my Zeiss 7X42 and 10X40 and got fed up going round shops trying to find the ideal things to stop myself from putting my fingers on the lens. I took the gamble hoping for the best I bought these lens caps and to my delight, they fit both of my binos well. They are rubber and thus flexible and fit well and snugly. I'm pleased I took the gamble.

Q: 5. Can this be used in a sitting position, taking videos of fireworks?

Q: 6. Can this bracket work with Rode VideoMicro Compact On-Camera Microphone , which is also sold here at a href= http://www.bhphotovideo.com target= _blank www.bhphotovideo.com/a ?

A: YES! I use the Rode microphone with this and a clip to hold my cell phone when filming. I have also used it with a small DSLR to shoot video when I wanted the microphone off to the side slightly. I mounted this bracket onto a Joby Gorillapod to hand hold and mount to a light stand for shooting BTS footage.

A: There is no roll or twist eyecups with the Nikon ProStaff 3 16-48x60 Spotting Scope
