  • Constant-voltage speaker systems, also called high impedance or 70/100V audio distribution systems, refer to networks of loudspeakers equipped with line transformers connected to an audio amplifier with high-impedance output.
  • High voltage (70 or 100V) enables long cable runs between amp and speakers with reduced power loss: low-level current allows smaller cable diameters.
  • Speakers can be wired in parallel in large number, limited only by available amplifier power.
  • Different speaker types with different power requirements can share the same speaker line simultaneously, making the system wiring easy.
  • Adding or removing a speaker is very quick and simple, it does not require to re-wire the overall circuit

  • Elegant and discreet design, combined with an excellent audio performance, represent the RCF sound. MR speakers are ideal both for speech and music reproduction in any business and A/V application and deliver deep bass, smooth midrange, and finely detailed high-frequency response.

  • Housed in self-extinguishing plastic, the MR series delivers uncompromising audio performance and reliability in fixed installations where the speakers would blend into any environment. MR speakers are easy to install, with included and optional accessories to increase installation flexibility for wall mounting.

  • Quality components and careful acoustic design make the MR series a great choice for applications such as speech and music reproduction in all A/V applications. Designed for easy installation into bars and restaurants, leisure hospitality, recreational facilities, theme parks, shopping malls, or audio monitoring facilities.
  • The MR 40's 1” voice coil woofers and 0.8” voice coil dome tweeters, combined with RCF Low Inductance Compensated Crossover (LICC) to assure exceptional audio performance and long-term reliability.

Q: 1. Hi, I am planning to buy Tamron Telephoto SP AF 180mm f/3.5 Di LD IF Macro Autofocus Lens for Canon EOS and wondering if this ring flash will fit and work on this lens or can you please specify what adaptor to use if I need one?

A: Yes, the Canon MR-14EX flash unit can be attached to the Tamron 180mm f3.5 macro lens using a special adapter ring made by Canon to fit on lenses with a 72mm sized filter diameter. See the link below for details on the required adapter ring: http://bhpho.to/JyRTj2

Q: 2. 1) What is the range of flash duration for this product? I have an MR-14EX, and it doesn't always freeze motion. Any suggestions?2) This flash seems to fire milliseconds before the shutter opens, which can give some live subjects enough time to react--some can fly right out of frame before the shutter opens. Is there any way I can get around that?

A: The MR-14EX may not freeze motion all the time because it is intended for close up subjects, where there is not a lot of motion to begin with. To avoid the pre-flash, you could use manual mode. Keep in mind, however, that manual mode will not allow for TTL use of the flash. Another solution to this issue would be to use a ring light, such as the Digi-Slave L Ring 3200D, which will provide a continuous light source and potentially be able to deter the subjects from moving when the flash fires off: http://bhpho.to/1gdjkPn

Q: 3. Are there other ring adapters that I can use for other sized lenses than the macrolite adapter sizes? For example, a 62mm macro lens.

A: Yes there are. If you regard the Accessories tab on this flash's product link, under the header Other flash accessories you will see adapter ring options for 52mm, 58mm, 67mm, and 72mm. To adapt it to a lens with a 62mm filter thread size, you would need to purchase the 67mm adapter ring for the flash, and then use a 62-67mm step-up ring to connect to that. See the two links below for the required adapter rings to connect it to your 62mm lens:http://bhpho.to/1frDLaahttp://bhpho.to/1lVIgRi

Q: 4. Is this unit compatible with the Canon 5D Mark IV?

A: Product MR-14EX II Macro Ring Lite is ttl compatible with the 5D mark iV

Q: 5. Can I use Yangnuo macro ring flash EX 14 RT -canon and Yangnuo remote flash triggers on Nikon 3300d, 5200d and 5300d? If yes, please let me know how to do it?

A: The Yongnuo YN-14EX-C Macro Ring Lite for Canon is technically for Canon. On a Nikon camera chances are it will fire but only in manual.Off camera you will need for the Nikon camera a manual wireless transmitter and a receiver for the YN-14EX-C. And again it will only work in manual.

Q: 6. My Question is regarding the effective range of 8.8 feet to 16 feet at f2.8 ISO100... If its a Macro photography flash shouldnt it be effective INCHES away? ANd NOT 8.8 feet away?My 600 ex rt is good at these ranges.

A: I have used it both ways. From about 2 inches with the Canon 100mm macro lens, as well as up to 15 ft away. At the longer distances, the nice this is you get portraits with no shadows. However, beware, though it is a great flash unit, Canon made the lens attachment thread only 67mm, which highly limits what lenses you can use it on. In other words, make your homework and make sure the flash will be capable of attaching to the lenses you are going to use, else look for alternatives that have a larger thread mount.

Q: 7. Can this unit be used on a Nikon D7100 with Nikor macro lenses?

A: I m terrible sorry for that answer Kevin , It wount fit at all in your nikkor lens , If you have nikon you may go for another brand like Sigma or Metz for a front light macro flash . Nikon used to have a similar flash but they cuit the fabrication of it. My apologys and make me any question of it again . I have bouth of the macro lens and macro twin flash nikon and canon to work with.

Q: 8. What's the difference between the version I and version II models of the MR-14EX flash?

A: The Canon MR-14EX II has a redesigned user-interface to match the rest of the Canon speedlite line-up, half-stop adjustments instead of full-stop adjustments, faster recycling times, 12 custom functions (up from 7).

Q: 9. I want to shoot portraits with this. Is it large enough to use the Sigma Art 35mm 1.4 lens? Or the Sigma 50 1.4 Art lens?

A: This flash is not compatible with Sigma lenses.

Q: 10. Can I use this macro ring with a 50mm?

A: You could use the MR-14EX TTL Macro Ring Lite Flash with a 50mm lens. You will need an adapter ring, the size of which will depend on the filter thread size of the lens.
