A: No not right out of the box. The 502 AH has a flat base and the 536 Carbon Tripod has a bowl mount @ either 100mm or 75mm with an adapter. So if you could adapt the 502 to a 100 or 75mm bowl base then you could theoretically use this tripod as long as there are no wierd obstructions or pieces oriented in incompatible places.

Q: 5. can someone who have used this tripod for a while and long periods of time IN WATER please give us a report? i have been trying to find a tripod that's waterproof for years and spent countless of money on so many products that always gave up in water... please confirm the durability of the legs and the rings in water... thanks :)

A: I bought mine in Sept of 2016 and have had it in salt water probably over 60 times. I have never rinsed it off and never wiped it down. Admittedly, I'm pretty tough on my gear and killed 3 previous tripods. B&H recommended this one, so I took a chance on it and LOVE it. Even after everything I had put it through, it works like the day I bought it. I did loose a rubber foot somewhere in Hawaii (oh ya, I even shot the lava with it) and had to have it replaced. But that's it. I look at tripods 2 and 3 times more expensive than this one and thought that I need to spend that kind of money to get a good one. Boy am I glad I didn't and the B&H recommended this one. Super happy with it (and no, I don't work for Sirui.. hahaha). Hope that helped you.

A: The ATEM switcher provides tally over the SDI connection. You connect the ATEM Program out to the Studio Fiber Converter SDI input #1 and assign a camera number. The camera will get tally in this way. You may optionally wire a 3rd party tally to the DB-25 connector but that has nothing to do with the ATEM and is not necessary.

Q: 9. is the center column reversible on this tripod?

A: The center column is reversible. The center column is also split so you can use the short section only if you splay the legs out and have the tripod flat on the ground

A: They both work at the lowest tripod's position, but if the ground is not flat and has some important asperities like in the forest or mountain, I think the shorter the better, as it may avoid bumping on a root for exemple. I chose the 500BALLSH because I also use my Manfrotto head with the Manfrotto 529 Hi Hat. Same reason as above.
